I graduate in Aug. 2017. I chose Capella University because a professor who taught at another university was getting her PhD at Capella. She told me how she really was enjoying her educational experience and how I should explore the Capella's opportunities as well. I really wanted to get my masters but I didn't want to sit in a classroom. I was so done with that! I wanted the flexibility to be at home and take online classes. I especially liked the fact that the courses were only 10 weeks! So I only... Read More

Capella University is an excellent institution for adult learners. There online format is conducive to my busy work/life schedule. The faculty are knowledgeable and accessible, and services/resources are very student-centered. The online resources are exceptional! Even though you attend virtually, you do not feel like you are missing out on traditional campus-based resources like library and writing assistance. The resources and skills you need to be a successful online adult learner are available... Read More

Capella University interested me because they have a community college concentration in the Higher Ed Admin program. So far the program has been challenging, but it has helped me grow in my career. The online platform is excellent. The instructors do a great job of interacting with their students. It has been great to work with classmates from all over the country and that are coming from diverse backgrounds.

A good introduction was important to me and really a determining factor to if I would stay with the program at this institution or move forward elsewhere. I am happy with what I learned, their competency format is great. The professors were attentive, easy to... Read More

I was able to take my time and take classes at my own pace. I am graduating this fall. I will say, just like any collage I have great professors, good professors, ok and even one bad professor. But I found the work challenging and meaningful. I was able to use many of my ELCC activities to help advance my career and impress my principal.
