Degree: Instructional Technology

Attending Full Sail University changed my career path for the better. The methodologies and techniques I acquired as a Graduate student helped solidify my views on Leadership, Organizational Development and Adult Learning. And the practical application of every new skill developed helped me identify niche services that I am uniquely qualified to provide as a professional and small business owner.

I earned a Masters of Science in Instructional Design and Technology. The program was one of the most challenging things I've done in my life. Good things are worth working hard for, and it was very hard and demanding. I'm much better off for completing it. So if you're lazy, don't attend Full Sail. I was able to secure a job as an ID about 9 months after I graduated. The career services department helped me get my job (Thank you Wendy!). I love my new career and credit Full Sail for it. Thank you... Read More

Getting a Master's degree at Full Sail is immersive, challenging, and rewarding. The Mastery course was very beneficial to me because it showed what it takes to be successful. I didn't have a formal background in design, so I had a steep learning curve in the beginning. Nevertheless, my instructors helped me to succeed. If you're not motivated, don't attend Full Sail. It's an uphill climb all the way. When you reach the top of the mountain though, it is a feeling of great accomplishment. I am grateful... Read More

There are several of advantages and a couple significant disadvantages to attending Full Sail online. The program that I attended was the Education Technology & Media Design Certificate Program. One of the advantages of taking education technology courses from Full Sail is that the instructors are approaching the subject from a technology background instead of a traditional education background, which puts the focus more on technical skill development and practice more than on theory. Though, make... Read More

Degree: Instructional Technology

The online program was convenient and challenging for me. The EMDT program gave me opportunities to use current technology in the classroom and utilize teaching 21st century skills with my students. The only con would be the expense of the program compared to similar programs. I believe I could have found a similar program with a lower tuition.

The pro of my graduate program is the flexibility of it being online, the healthy level of support and accountability received by faculty and student colleagues. The con of my graduate program is that I do not get a chance to experience campus life in the natural, but it is very much alive online.
