Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary On-Line is an invaluable resource for the working and/or out-of-state student. This is especially true for our uniformed men and women stationed through out the world. The virtual work space and class room environments have been created in such a way that those who might be less savvy with technology can still maneuver with ease. The cons of my particular program mainly deal with unresolved technical issues in the language courses. What this means is... Read More

I feel that the graduate program at Liberty University will prepare me with the knowledge and the theological aspect that is needed to be able to present God's message to all people. I believe that this area of study will give me the ability to discern the meaning of the gospel and to make it relatable to today's society. Understanding different religions will also allow me not to be prejudice from my own beliefs and to maintain a sense of compassion for all believers of the Word of God.

I have been very impressed and satisfied with the level of interaction from professors and librarians. I have also had tremendous success getting a hold of and communicating with student services. I am very please at the level of academic work required and the program overall. Much of the rating system above does not apply to my school as I am working from home!

When communicating with the university it's much better to call then to email. I'm so accustomed to emailing and I'm not accustomed to not getting a timely response back, much less no response at all. But their Blackboard is AMAZING and I haven't even started using it for classes yet! They have tutorials to show you how to do anything you need to on it, and they are SHORT tutorials, straight and to the point. One other con is that if you want a particular department, you really need to know which... Read More

Although I am new to this program, it has been a pleasure thus far. The school provides tons of social avenues for online students. There are webinars and feeds from on-campus activities. Student support has been active and helpful. The instructors are also helpful and adequate. I would recommend this program to anyone interested in these studies!

I felt that Liberty University did a great job overall providing a competitive and acceptable online seminary training. The education I received was outstanding and the workload was doable. Ultimately, I would have chosen the same thing over if I had to go back.

Great if you are going into ministry or just want some good theological training. Otherwise, this degree will NOT get you a job.

As an online student, I feel that the classes offered are exceptional in content and delivery. The professors are very accessible via email and phone. Every class has its own discussion board for words of encouragement, prayers, and advice, which is helpful for all students. Thus far, I am very pleased with my education through Liberty University. After I graduate, I will be a chaplain with the U.S. Army and possibly with the Federal Bureau of Prisons or the VA.

Liberty probably gives the best from what I've seen as far as online programs. The graduate studies are rigorous and you learn from them. There is no financial aid aside from loans you may receive from the government. It is a conservative school in it's theology, but you learn.

I am taking online classes, and when I have had to call with questions or problems they have been more than helpful. They go out of their way to make sure that all of your questions get answered correctly. I believe that they are truly concerned with what happens in your life. I am very pleased so far with Liberty University. The training is top notch!

Pros would be getting a quality degree from a quality university. Cons is it is a graduate program and my main focus/program is all online with no on campus classroom study, but I'm not complaining because it allows me to have flexibility in my schedule.

I am enrolled in the online program, but it didn't offer me a selection for "program." I also attended Liberty as an undergrad so I answered some of the questions based on that and what I know of the school today. I have been very impressed with the graduate program so far, in quality and in the communication with the school and professors.

LIberty University is an excellent school for online learning. I have not had any of the problems generally associated with online school. The professors are caring and responsive, the workload is sometimes overwhelming, but doable, and there is real knowledge being aquired. Liberty University Online is not handing out fake degrees to anyone. You work for what you want, and you get what you pay for. The only down side I would mention is the "recruiter mentality" of the school. Sometime you feel like... Read More
