I have read the various reviews posted here, and I thought I would chime in to express my personal experience. I do not plan to give many details for the sake of space, but I would say that the school was an overall great experience for me, with a few exceptions. Matriculation was a breeze, and they made it easy for me to enroll online and receive help for those parts of the process that was a bit ambiguous. Completing the classes was fun and challenging because the workload was generally hefty, with reading, writing, and coursework to complete simultaneously at times. The difficulty of completing all of the assignments in a seven-day school week, even if one is not working, is tremendous; however, I anticipated this because it is a postgraduate degree program designed to test and extend your knowledge. I feel that I came out better for it. Financial aid (FA) is not a rigid system of Liberty to maneuver if you stay on top of it, ask questions, and ensure that you are not using more than you have to complete your degree program. I called and emailed both the FA office and MBS Direct (the online bookstore) to make sure that all my ducks were in a row, doing so, on several occasions, multiple times. The only dissatisfaction I have is with the student services office responsible for the pricing and freezing of accounts once money is owed. I wish they would change the way they penalize students, especially those who have to leave school due to life-altering events. Otherwise, I cannot complain about anything else because I was treated with respect and appropriately advised. However, I was still left with the final decision to choose one option over the other. On another note, students enrolling in any university or college should know that there will not be much coddling after you have registered because it reflects the real world: you are expected to be a responsible young adult. So, keeping that in mind, you should go in prepared to be self-advocating, self-reliant, and self-motivated, and proactive when it comes to everything. Plain and Simple. Do not expect handouts; get a job as soon as you can, if you are not wealthy, and do what you have to get the grade and get out.

Therefore, you do not have the social interaction with your peers as you would physically being on campus. Another disadvantage, is that you may not have quick access to instructors or advisers for questions. Although there are some disadvantages to an online degree program, the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages.
