Initially, the school was amazing when I started in 2020. I felt really supported, engaged, and learn a lot. Upon completion of that degree, I decided to pursue my MBA. The first few semesters were great. About a few months into the program, I started having problems with professors. Many times, they would not help, only deduct points for vague things such as formatting or spelling errors, which in both cases was not true. It continuously got worse to the point that almost every class I was fighting... Read More with instructors. Many did not like the fact that I offered different perspectives or would question their reasoning behind their grading. I would follow the rubric and instructions thoroughly only to be told when submitted that it was all wrong. Evidently, the professor's idea of the assignment differs from the assignment instructions?? No real explanation or anything. Needless to say, many of these so-called professors are class moderators, not teaching anything. If you know more than the professor, they challenge you on everything. Of all my academia spanning 20 years, this is the first time that I received B's in a few of my classes. The professors in those classes would not help me and I had to use additional resources like tutorials on YouTube to understand. Then at the end of the class, they always say how they are there for you to help. Where were you 3 weeks ago? Also, they have end of class surveys that are supposed to be anonymous, which they aren't. If you post something negative, you risk failing even though that is unethical. I am going to complete my doctorate elsewhere since I no longer feel aligned with the schools mission or feel challenged enough. I have two degrees from them and find it difficult to find work. Many employers say that they don't recognize Liberty.. I'm like, well its real.. like $200k worth of student debt real. As of now, I'm going on 8 months unemployed. No help from the school or anything. I honestly feel like I don't know what to do. I DO know I will seek education elsewhere though.

PRO's: Great discount for military vets on the MBA and other masters degrees. The online format is very convenient for working adults, as I am. The classes are challenging, but not impossible. I like the biblical worldview emphasis added to most of the coursework. I enjoyed the real world scenarios used in many of the courses as this provides better learning for real life application. CON's: I am beginning a doctoral program in strategic leadership, and I learned there is no military discount for... Read More this program. That is a bit of shame and will likely add time to my degrees so I can afford to pay as I go. A few of the classes were a bit easy in my mind; I would have preferred more challenges. The group projects were horrible at best as I frequently found myself with classmates who often struggled to produce work at a graduate level. Some group members were just not available; nor did they let the group know when they were not going to meet their deliverables. Overall I enjoyed my experience, otherwise I would not be returning for my doctorate.

Let me start by saying this school is perfect for full time college students or full time mid level job holders. I found the online program to be a lot of work which is a good thing but what I found discouraging was the lack of professors involvement. When I had questions or concerns I would e-mail each professor only to get either a response after the assignment deadline or no response at all. Writing a passage Scripture every week shouldn't be the only form of communication. I didn't really enjoy... Read More my first semester but decided try one more semester needless to say this will be my last semester. I will attend my local university and finish my MBA. Besides corporate America prefer local degrees then online degrees it is sad but so true.

The pros of my graduate program is that I am receiving a quality education that I know will benefit me in the end. The teachers and faculty are very respectful and I am grateful to be a part of the school. The only con that I have is that I'm unaware of the alumni participation and the key leaders that have come from the school. Read More could go to another and because of the name of the school automatically get a multitude of E-mails from jobs looking to hire based on its reputation.

Overall, my MBA program was very good. Although I changed my cognate from international business to accounting after my first year, my academic advisers were helpful and encouraging. The flexibility of the program allowed me to complete my degree in 2 years. Nearly all of my professors were kind, compassionate, and considerate. Whilst the program remains nascent and is still growing in prestige, the curriculum is top-notch. As a student, you receive good "bang for your buck" and the school strives...
