Degree: Curriculum & Instruction

It was a good experience, overall. The advisors give you calls every so often. If you have a call you can simply give them a call. Most of the teachers are very friendly and helpful. I get a couple teachers who did not accept late work, they should understand life happens sometimes and you just sometimes don’t have time or the resources to complete assignments because you’re in the military. I would honestly complete another program if i can. The work is sometimes rigorous and you may have to take... Read More

Some of the pros associated with being in an online graduate program is the ability to work at one's own pace. The deadlines for assignment submissions allow for time to study the content and apply what was learned while tending to life's demands (i.e. family, career, leisure). Additionally, there’s an advantage in being somewhat anonymous as an online student because it alleviates any biases the professor could potentially have when it comes to grading. With this could also be a con, as the lack... Read More

Liberty University is an amazing school. I really like the flexibility of my graduate program. I am a military spouse and I travel a lot. This program allows me to continue my education even when I move around. The coursework is directly pertaining to my degree and I fee like it is preparing me for what I will need in my field.

Pros: All online, so no need to physically go to the campus; complete coursework around my schedule; split schedule for grad work so I can focus on one class at a time and still be considered a full-time student Cons: Harder to ask questions than in person; must depend on professor to answer emails to get answers; must rely on classmates completing their assignments on time to complete my assignments since many assignments require responding to a classmate's submission

The pros of this program is the flexibility and the professionalism of the teachers. The cons of this graduate program is the lack of face to face contact.

The Online program is awesome at Liberty. Although I do not physically attend, there is an active social community, the campus is safe and there are plenty of transportation options and parking for those who have cars. I love their program.

Liberty University has proven to be a high quality program. I have been able to work towards an Ed.S. degree in Curriculum & Instruction while working as a high school Mathematics teacher.

I am in the beginnings of an online program at Liberty University. So far I am enjoying the rigid schedule that is set by the professors. They are also very quick to help with any problems that may come up.

Liberty's online program makes attending classes much easier than the traditional campus method. It allows the flexibility that is needed by working adults who do not live near a major university campus to further their education. The price is competitive with other major universities as well. The downside is that the school offers virtually NO financial aid assistance to graduate students except in the form of student loans. This can make the process difficult for those of us who have proved their... Read More
