Overall Liberty is an excellent school and you will receive and excellent education. I received both my Bachelor's and Master's there but am not able to continue with my Doctorate with Liberty because they don't have a program available that I could go into without completely changing my career path and area of concentration. I started with Liberty when they were a little smaller and you felt as though you received more attention from your instructors. Now the school is so big and the professors... Read More

I chose to attend Liberty after a friend recommended the university. For me, I wanted to gain some of my education from a Christian perspective while still be able to work in a secular setting. Liberty prepared me for counseling in either a faith based or secular setting. I was taught how to integrate my faith in to my career without being unethical or offensive. Most importantly, I received a lot of support from the staff and faculty at the university. My emails are responded to quickly, the professors... Read More

Liberty University has come highly recommended my fellow colleagues, all of whom are Army Education Counselors. Thus far, I have had a wonderful experience with the onboarding process, financial aid, introductions and orientations. Their site is easy to use and navigate. The few times that I have had to call have all been a great experience. Their customer service is wonderful. The education and tuition are both impressive.

Liberty University is in all tense and purposes a good school for undergraduates. However, for Graduate programs I should have gone to the local school that I graduated from. Liberty is no help for finding a facility that will take you in for your Practicum or Internship since the majority of the online students are out of State from Virginia. Furthermore the legal department has to approve any contracts between a cite that you might find that will take you for the Practicum or Internship and then... Read More

My experience with LUO was phenomenal! The knowledge I gained from this school enabled me to perform at my internship with confidence. I was offered a position before I graduated. They were willing to wait for me to pass the national exam and apply for my associate-level license.

This University makes a lot of promises with no follow through. There is very limited interaction with the professors. The only people you can talk to via phone are the academic advisors and they can't answer the majority of the questions. The other departments force you to email them, even when you need an answer right away. It is typical to not get responses to emails for days at a time. I am an independent learner and found the majority of the classes informative. Yes, there is a lot of reading... Read More

Liberty was a good school. I recently left because trying to incorporate the bible & Christianity was not easy for me. If you don't know the bible then this school is not for you. I was mislead about the Christian eduction I didn't realize I needed a bible along with my textbooks. One of my instructors didn't seem friendly on the phone but her emails were. I don't think the instructors are bad but that one just didn't seem interested to me. This school just didn't work for me....
