It's been a long road to getting my Master's degree, but I finally made it. The program wasn't overly interactive, so if you are the type of person who needs that extra personal touch, this might not be the place for you. However, if you are self-motivated like I am, you will find that the experience is quite enjoyable. There was only one course that I dropped out of because it wasn't well organized, but when I took it the second time it was great like all the other courses. My advisor, Mawn, always... Read More

WARNING - THIS SCHOOL TAKES STUDENTS MONEY - If the professor gives you a bad grade for no reason at all - or if the professor discriminates against you the school will not do anything. They force you to stay in the class and leave with no choice but to withdrawal. They will NOT refund you any money. After 2 weeks they have no refund policy and they advantage of you because of that. They simply do not care. Their advisors are the worst. LOOK at this school's feedback on YELP. Other students are trying... Read More

Low quality education, inexprienced instructors, some of the staff at the international office seem to be very rude, and real costly but the education you get seems to be subpar. They were very eager to accept me here, no surprise considering the admission rate but it was not what I expected.

Great school for online distance learning, responsive professors and good online course formats.

I have previously written a positive review for my undergraduate psychology degree at this University. I have just finished my first master's IT class, IT 505, Core Technologies. The instructor (M. Gallaher) was amazing, and incredibly engaging with his students. He is employed with NASA (yes, SNHU has excellent instructors). The Core Technologies class was an introduction to information technology, and I am looking forward to taking the rest of the courses in the program to graduate with a Master's... Read More

I completed an MSIT at SNHU Online in slightly over two years. I have 20+ years of IT experience, and would say the MSIT course content was current/relevant and the overall experience exceptional. Coursework averaged about 12hrs per week. 3 months after graduation I was accepted into Penn State for a Masters of Software Engineering and my SNHU degree was completely accepted without provisions. I attended two other online colleges prior to SNHU, those being Boston University and Florida Institute... Read More

I just began my master's program in January of 2017 and have been very pleased with the process. The advisers and staff are excellent and made the process of applying and registration nearly painless. My fist term completes in two weeks and both the workload and expectations for a part time online class are reasonable while still challenging enough to feel worthwhile. I highly recommend this school to any professional looking to further their education while working.

You won't learn anything about IT there are no labs, some point of time you will come to know how to write an article in APA format. You will never know how to write hello world in Java if you join this school. Waste of time , waste of money, you will get a fake degree awarded by fake people.

Pros: the pace for this course is excellent; neither too fast nor too slow. The course workload is certainly challenging, albeit not overwhelming. I am learning with plenty of opportunities to apply my learning and let it sink in, instead of "dry sponging" it.

Siince this is online only - I can't rate campus, transportation or surrounding area (which is why the rating did not come out as high as it should). The workload is manageable but at times taxing. I am doing this while working full time and managing a family with sporting and volunteer comitements. Weekly there's typically 2 assignments due, most likely a discussion and a paper. Interface between classmates has been very minimal.

As with any online program, a huge pro is flexibility of schedule and ease of turning in assignments without having to travel and spend time on a campus. Among the cons are the overall lack of classroom interaction with both peers and instructors, including the ability to get a question answered straight away. Taking an online graduate program takes a lot of self discipline and focus to pull through.

The online format gives you the flexibility to schedule your own hours and complete assignment by the dead line. You have to take responsibility for reading and understanding the materials and resources. Help is available but you must seek it out and acknowledge its limitations.

Pros: very accessible online program, reasonable tuition, good interactivity with classmates on discussion boards, good variety of studies. Cons: more "book learning" and less hands on learning for the subject at hand, pace of terms a bit too fast so that once you get a concept it's time to move on to the next. Overall, a good value and a reasonably diverse program with several choices of a concentration component.
