The flexibility is really the only good thing about their program. But at the same time it’s a double edged sword. The classes are not challenging, they are very repetitive, and I do not feel like it bettered my career.

The worst part however is the customer service. I am in a dispute with debt collector, because I withdrew from a class I did not want to be in and they failed to actually remove me. Read More keep poor records of phone calls and stated that it’s my responsibility to record the phone call stating I had withdrawn from the class. Their program is weak, the professors are subpar and the customer service is garbage.

I highly do not recommend this college or their online program. They are all about the money and not at all about the education of their students. After having dropped a business class as a first time freshman and being toyed around with by my so called counselor they tried to collect 2 grand from me for a class that I didn't even take. I had told my counselor early on i had wanted to drop this class and was ignored for the sake of them attempting to scam me and collect what they wanted for the class.... Read More Needless to say I contacted my lawyer and let their financial department who records everything students say over the phone lines in order to blackmail them into paying for services they want to argue the student received. Needless to say I refused to pay a thing and disputed the charges after I contacted the Better business Bureau and filed a complaint. Apparently I'm not the only student they have tried to pull this scam with. I am glad I have always had my own lawyer and do not recommend this school. It is all about the money. Don't believe me do the research. That is all. SCAM artists!!!!!

I like SNHU. I attended two brick and mortar establishments (a private for profit and a state school) prior to SNHU. The private university proved too costly considering I was not working, and the state school was absolute garbage. I decided to go back to school once I had an employer who provided tuition assistance, and I chose SNHU. I am a relatively intelligent person, I had a 3.6 GPA when I left the private university, and was on the Dean's list every semester at the state school. I graduated SNHU's undergraduate program with a 3.834 GPA, and I am halfway through the MBA program with a 4.0. Granted, not all of the work is difficult. But, it takes time and dedication to ensure that you submit assignments when they are due and to an adequate level of quality. I have had both good and unsavory professors, but no matter what, I do have to spend considerable time ensuring things are completed. This is not a cakewalk with a 40+ hour a week job and two courses per term. I thrive in a self study environment, and I think that's really what this type of educational forum caters to. I have no major complaints with communication, feedback, or grading. As for those who state professors go easy grading, I was accidentally sent an assessment for another student's assignment (we had the same name), and they received a 14% (and deserved it). Admitting any student does make it more difficult for group projects and discussion board interaction, but it does reiterate the effort you put forth in your own work. It's really a shame for anyone to suggest that a degree from SNHU is not respectable. Anyone who spends their time attempting to get a higher education should be congratulated, especially considering how difficult it is to get out from under student loans. The ROI on investment isn't a guarantee right now. I get it, it's not Harvard, but I am not an idiot just bumbling through assignments and getting free A's either. I have recommended them to many people (both of my siblings now attend) and I'm considering a second Master's program. The only thing I cannot really comment on is the financial service. I don't have any student loans and I never get any scholarships or grants. I pay them, they don't bother me.

Southern New Hampshire is not prestigious; however, they provide an excellent education. College education is not about prestige. College is about obtaining skills through quality education. Southern New Hampshire University may be small compared to other colleges, but they’re big on providing great education.
