There are several reasons I rate this school so low. First, the discrimination that you will encounter from adjunct professors can ruin the entire experience. Not only do these people fail at actively teaching but they have grading biases that are near impossible to dispute. I have reached out to academic advisors, dispute management, and the professors themselves to work things out. Without fail, I have been brushed off every time. Things have become so horrible that I am looking into a legal team... Read More

I completed my BA in Communication with SNHU in 2019 and was accepted into Johns Hopkins University for a Masters in Communication. Johns Hopkins! After two terms I began to realize that I missed the connection I felt with SNHU. My advisor always called to check-in, the financial aid department was phenomenal, admin was easy to get ahold of, the bookstore responded to emails quickly, I LOVED all my professors, I LOVED the online platform (Brightspace), and I thoroughly had a pleasant experience.... The university wants to place people in seats and they do not care about their employee wellbeing. There is a high turnover rate, leading to inaficancy with the students needs and success. There is not the freedom to choose your own courses. Micomanging is their way, and you as the student do not have a voice to change their mentality of thinking. Save your money and find a better university.

Southern New Hampshire University Online is one of the few online programs that actually pushes students to learn and grow. I have previously taken classes with University of Phoenix and Grand Canyon University but have not received the quality of education as with SNHU. The instructors at SNHU are involved and invested in your education and success, not simply grading papers just to earn a paycheck. The support staff is also very helpful.

As an online student SNHU has give me the opportunity to work towards my goals of getting my masters degree. The MBA program is competitive and the resources provided the right level of challenge. For a student working while attending school, online has been the best option for me. I also like that there are now five terms a year, so things seem to progress quicker.

I was strictly an online student, therefore am unable to vouch for the surrounding area, social life, or campus safety. Even before starting my degree at SNHU, the admissions counselor and subject advisor were a HUGE help. They were awesome at getting the information requested to make my decision. Other online colleges just wanted my money but SNHU was willing to help me before taking my money. The staff is phenomenal!

I am in my third semester at Southern New Hampshire University. I'm taking classes both online and in class, working towards my MBA with a concentration in Human Resources. The staff is the best part of SNHU. From the very beginning, they have been extremely helpful and encouraging. My student adviser checks in with me on a regular basis and always makes sure I'm up to date on my classes and registration. I am extremely happy with my experience at SNHU.
