I started the MBA program with SNHU due to the flexibility and low cost when compared to other schools (I was looking at Pepperdines online program at the time, but was out of my budget at roughly 100k). I was already working a full time job in the Credit Union industry as an assistant manager and was looking to prepare myself for the next step. Read More the required experience, my education made up for this as the requirement for this job was only a bachelors degree. I can say that if I had not enrolled in this MBA program, I would not have been able to land this job. It was also very convenient since I work full time, I was able to go to school part time and I am set to finish my degree in 2022 (Roughly 2 years total from when I started). The programs themselves have the same format (Discussions, Assignments, Video Check Ins and 1 major assignment worth a majority of your grade). I can say SNHU is definitely not a diploma mill with plenty of reputable alumni. I was fairly surprised to see the negative comments on this board, which made me want to create this review. I have also applied for other jobs in the past and have gotten plenty of calls back due to this degree along with my experience. I will say though it may not be the best option for those with zero work experience, it has helped me significantly move up the ranks quickly and increase my earning potential. I even work with a fellow SNHU alumni who is going to school for her bachelors. Again, it may not be the best option for everyone, but its definitely worth a look. Just know what your getting into before you commit. With an investment of roughly 25k for this MBA, I would say I have already received a return on this investment seeing how it increased my salary almost immediately from 60k per year to 85k (And growing).

I applied to the MBA program and SNHU accepted me and waived the first 5 intro classes. I changed my major before starting and then reconsidered and went back to the MBA program. After reapplying they said they made a mistake and required me to take three entry level classes at $1800.00 a piece. This school is all about profit and not about educating students. I feel like the school takes total advantage of their students and I also believe the diploma is absolutely worthless. I completed a bachelors degree and an MBA at SNHU. I have applied for hundreds of jobs in my degree field and have never been able to land a job with it. I have even been told by several large employers that they don't look at SNHU degrees real seriously. I had several issues with them along the way but the worst was when they said I didn't drop a class, when I did, and they gave... Read More me an "F" on my transcript. I would like to mention that every grade I got at this school was an "A" accept for this one class. Now when I actually took the course, I received an "A" in it. I would also like to mention that I feel that the school is definitely a diploma mill and there needs to be something done about it. I spent over $85,000 dollars on my degrees and cannot even get a part-time job with them. Also the career services are an absolute joke, don't think for a minute they are going to help you find a job. I would give the diplomas back to them in a minute to not have the student loan debt. I honestly can't same anything good about the school or diplomas.

I had loans all the way through, no problems. I had an advisor that was always there, start to finish. I took 2 classes per term, spent roughly 20-25 hours per week total. Got mostly A's, a couple of B's. Not extremely difficult, but I did enough work to say I am very proud of this MBA. By my calculations, I spent well over 2000 hours to get this MBA. Didn't get to go to SNHU. Applied and got in but dealt with a very annoying advisor who took days to get back to me everytime I had a question. After wasting 3 weeks w the Finaid dept. they literally tell me that they won't give me the Direct Loan I was approved for because I already have loans. Can you believe that? I'm pretty sure most ppl applying to that c888 school has student loans. I think they cater more to ppl who can pay cash but they need to say that up front. I dealt w them for more than... This school is ghetto and unprofessional, refusing to help students because they are too busy minding their personal business. And their explanation? Because SNHU wants to ensure student success they don't give additional loans. Success is whether I can get a job after I graduate to pay the loans,not having the loans in the first place. Sounds like an excuse they can use when their graduates DON'T get jobs. I don't care how popular this school is, it is ghetto and like to waste ppl's time. If they would just say up front "we'd rather you be able to pay out of pocket" it would've saved me time and an application fee. F*** them forreal.

I was not happy with their Career Services - needed to talk to someone to get advice they called me and we scheduled appointment but they never called me back. Then a survey requiring feedback comes in where I addressed concerns but still no one called back. Basically Career Services do not do their jobs. I ended up consulting in different institutions about my choices. SNHU have multiple issues with the lab that is tacky and not user friendly. Instructors are inconsistent with grading requirements and do not answer questions in enough depth. Advice: choose a local state schools so at least you can get local internships.

I chose to continue my education with SNHU online because of the flexibility. I work full time and still fit in part time graduate school without running out of time for myself. The variety of concentrations was important to me as well. I studied psychology in my undergrad so I was afraid I would be unprepared for my graduate degree but they already had a solution for that as well! I am very pleased with the college. The professors are required to have a masters degree and most have a doctorate. My advisor Brenda has been wonderful and responds back with in 24 hours, she calls me every semester to see how things are going. The work is challenging and requires a lot of reading and writing, but that's how you get educated. If you don't want to do work then you don't go to college. Make sure you read all the announcements, they are informative . I have taken some classes on campus... Read More and the quality is the same. I know several students who have transferred online undergraduate courses to other colleges with no problem. I have several outstanding job offers.

I picked SNHU's online MBA program because it is extremely convenient with my full-time work schedule. Also, it is very competitively priced compared to other programs. With that being said, I wish that SNHU had some kind of admissions requirements to weed out their selection of students. This will sound completely arrogant, but I really do not care. The VAST majority of students in my classes seem as though they barely passed college. Their writing skills and grammar are horrendous, which is an... Read More issue for me with group projects. They also lack the ability to properly comprehend any kind of assignment, also an issue for me with group projects. It is incredibly frustrating trying to work with such students. I am not sure if it is a lack of intelligence or a lack of effort that is causing this problem. At the same time, as I have read from other students, I believe that the professors simply hand out good grades, regardless of the quality of the work. I say this because time and time again I put in maximum effort and quality into each assignment, yet students whose work is CLEARLY subpar receive somewhat similar grades to me. I know there are other students out there who share my sentiments. I am incredibly appreciative to be receiving A's on everything, but I would like honest grades and feedback for the assignments. The whole situation is simply infuriating. On the bright side though, I do like my advisor because she keeps in touch with me and seems to be on top of things.

The online program at SNHU for the MBA program leaves quite a bit to be desired. After finishing undergrad at a university where I took the majority of my classes on campus but did chose to take some online, I was intrigued by the option of a graduate program online offered by a brick and mortar school. It didn't take long for me to begin regretting my decision. Unfortunately, as with the majority of graduate programs my credits wouldn't transfer elsewhere so I finished my degree with SNHU. The professors... Read More are overly opinionated, under-qualified and rarely grade fairly (mind you I graduated the program with a 4.0). I knew several students that were also enrolled that turned in sub-par work or work beyond the deadlines with no reason yet received full credit. Where I would spend time diligently doing my work on time to the best of my ability and would receive either equal grades or points off for differing opinions. The program taught me little to nothing and was basically a tic mark on my resume. I would not advise anyone to waste their money on this program.
