My experience since I have been enrolled at Strayer has been great! I love how the materials and research is provided for you, I will admit this is my first experience with online learning but I am enjoying it. There are times when some classes have been more challenging than others, but giving up is not an option. What I will tell you is the tutors are available and very useful. I've been with Strayer since 2002 and although I've seen quite a few significant changes over the years, they have always been able to fit in with my schedule. As a husband, father of 7 and full-time employee I needed an institution that was capable of fitting my schedule. Strayer has been able to do this. As far as the Financial department goes, I would not know much about this since my company has paid 100% from my Associate's Degree all the way through my Master's Degree. Having said this, though,... Read More the cost of the courses are very expensive...if my company wasn't paying 100% there is no way I would have been able to do this. We're talking around $2,500 per course out of pocket before books costs are even calculated into the equation. I can say I've learned a lot, the instruction was challenging and the professors were subject matter experts who were mostly all professionals in the fields that they taught. I'm happy that not only am I graduating this June (all classes are already completed) with a Master's Degree in Information Systems, but I was also able to maintain a 4.0 GPA from my very first course all the way to the last course. This isn't because Strayer is easy by any means...most of the time the "class grade" was much lower than my grades. I just have strong work ethic and take my education very seriously. Overall very satisfied with the level of instruction that I was provided and the professionalism of all people I interacted with through the institution from my student coach all the way to the deans.

I just graduated from the MBA with concentration in project management program at Strayer University. My undergraduate studies were completed at a brick and mortar private college in NYC. Adjusting to taking online courses was difficult initially at Strayer University, but I opted to start off doing hybrid format until becoming more familiar with the learning modules. If the school offered doctoral programs, I would attend. I received a promotion position within the first three months of getting the degree. Even now, I still get calls for other job offers. I'm originally from New York and like the fact that although I attended Strayer Campuses in the Washington, D.C. metro area, the campuses in New Jersey are close to New York. So, employers are considering my application along the East Coast. The many campuses and accreditation allows for students to be recognized by employers in various states. I will definitely recommend this school to other working professionals. The career services and Workforce Recruitment Program was also beneficial to my job search process.

Strayer University Graduate Program is very intense and relative to today's workforce character. The curriculum and text books were up-to-date and provided a very realistic view point of the global changes and necessity of understanding. The teachers encouraged all students to provide their experiences and opinions. In obtaining a MBA from Strayer University, you must have a strong support and financial system. Also, Network with your classmates so that you can both support one another through your graduate program. This is a great and challenging program over all.
