The quality and cost of the grad program are excellent when compared to other universities in the area. I sometimes regret not attending here for my undergrad studies. One thing that I love most is that even though the majority of my courses have been taken online, the professors have always been available for questions and advice.

The graduate program at A&M Commerce allows for all online courses, so you could complete your masters from anywhere in the world. The professors are extremely helpful and provide excellent feedback on course work. The advisor answer your questions really quickly so there is no time wasted.

I really appreciate a program that offers face to face and online grad coursework. UNT was actually my first choice however after hearing about the cohort program through my district, I decided to go ahead and give TAMUC a try. I'm pleased that I decided to take this route. The professors and the instruction provided online and face to face have been extremely beneficial to me personally and professionally. I've been able to gain new learning from my peers and take advantage of all of the online... Read More

Many of the questions above are not something that I use all that often since I take classes online. I am not required to be on campus for hardly any reason. Pro's of being online are great and there are con's to that at the same time. Pro's are I can get my work done at any time of the day which allows me to work. However, sometimes it is nice to meet with Prof. face to face to work out problems. However, ever Prof I have had has been more than helpful if you send them an email. My experience of... Read More

I have been pursuing my masters in curriculum and instruction. The courses are rigorous and prepare you well for the exam. The instructors are fair and accessible. A great program and I highly recommend it.

The program is very flexible which caters to the needs of non- traditional students. This is especially important as many teachers/ educators do not desire to quit working. The cons of the program is that due to it being mainly online, there is little networking available.

I really enjoy this graduate program and my professors are so helpful on a personal level. I don't feel like a number, I feel like a person who they are truly invested in.

Texas A&M Commerce has been extremely beneficial for me. I have been able to continue my education while still working full time and raising two children. I am grateful to attend a great school which employs excellent professors. If you have ever thought of going back to school to futher your education, stop thinking and start acting. Texas A&M Commerce will help you.

I'm currently an educator in Texas and I was looking for a program that would allow me to efficiently work and learn. The program so far has been BEYOND my expectations. The classes have added value the way that I think about my instruction, the content is relevant to what I am doing and is not overwhelming in my day to day life. If you're looking for a program that is flexible, online, and affordable A&M Commerce is a great choice!

Pros: This university offers lots of certifications for in service teachers and also offers some free online courses that I could take. Con: I don't feel like my class is rigorous or that I am necessarily learning more than I did in my undergrad.

For me this was the ideal graduate program. I work full time, have a husband and two children. TAMUCs online program made graduate school workable for me.

My graduate program utilizes the latest technology to make classes accessible to students. They have also opened a new campus location that was near my home, to make the hybrid courses easier than ever to get to. They've also begun to offer free courses for those in the field of education, and knowing that teachers don't pick their careers for the money, it's a treat. I have had difficulty with getting my degree plan setup, and it's sometimes difficult to get a hold of someone when it becomes necessary... Read More

My degree adviser is very accessible and knowledgeable about my degree plan options. The university even offers free courses for graduate students in specific programs. I also appreciate the partnership the university creates with the local schools and districts. I've had some recent difficulty in the accuracy of my degree plan and finding alternative payment options for the summer semesters (you have to pay in full, there are no installment options).

TAMU - Commerce is a wonderful school! I am finishing my Masters after completing my Alternative Certification. The teachers are readily available to help (there is no "busy work") & I have always been able to contact someone on the administrative side of TAMU-C. Everyone has always been very kind...I have no complaints!
