I would never recommend this school. I was doing fine all the way up until my last class and then they wanted to put my account on hold without notice pulled me out of my class and is now giving me the run around just to finish my last course. I will not be going back for my masters at this institute or recommend anyone else for this school.

I hate schools that use Zybooks for IT courses because there are whole threads about how bad it is and it's like these schools live to give you the least for your money! I'm so done with UAGC for many reasons but that program was enough to make me walk away from a 33 percent discount. DO NOT ATTEND you have been warned.

I think this University is great for someone who likes to study on their own. That means lots of reading and writing and for some classes quizzes. i enjoyed my time at this University and the only issues i had was with the financial aid department, other than that it's a great university and i learned a lot.

It’s pathetic on how much they target low income & military personnel.
I kept on getting classes added right when I was almost done. Then, they added additional fees that was never discussed.
Also, I’ve had issues with employment because a lot of companies do not recognize this university as legit.
I wasted so much time here and I just transferred to a university that's recognized.

From the beginning of my enrollment process, the employees have been pushy. Even before I was enrolled, I requested they stop calling me because I wanted to go somewhere else, but that didn't stop them from misleading me into finalizing my enrollment. Now, I'm 2 weeks in, and I'm requesting to withdraw again because I've done everything in my power to satisfy a tax form they have to have, but I can't satisfy it, and when I informed their financial team, the lady was rude and couldn't explain to me... I was excited to go back to school and finish my Bachelor’s degree so I decided to attend this college only to be disappointed. These professors do not know what they are doing or knows how to grade anything. They have left me with nothing but anxiety, disappointment, and the feeling of not even wanting to finish my degree and hence the reason why I left. University of Phoenix is so so much better than there. I spent hours and hours researching and researching for my assignments and papers and yet... Read More

As a dedicated student and a veteran who served my country with honor, I embarked on this educational journey with high hopes and a strong commitment to achieving my degree. However, my experience has been marred by a series of issues that have left me deeply disheartened. One of the most glaring issues I encountered during my time with the University of Arizona Global Campus was the failure to factor in the total cost of the program. This lack of transparency and oversight has created a substantial... Read More

I rarely write reviews, but I wanted to address some of the misleading reviews and the plethora of unjustified tears that have been shed all over this site. Many of the poor reviews stem from the individual failing to do their research prior to enrolling in a program. For example, the University does not hide the fact that their PhD Psychology program is not APA accredited, and therefore not accepted if one wants to practice as a licensed psychologist. The same goes for the required accreditations... Read More

UAGC seems to be a fairly polarizing school. Some people hate it, some people love it. For my personal experience, I felt like the school did a fine job at providing me an education and improving my future career prospects. I'll break down my review into different sections. STAFF AND FACULTY: My career advisor was great. She was extremely responsive and easy to get ahold of, she would send me occasional e-mails encouraging me to keep up my work and would praise me throughout my schoolwork citing... Read More

I'm beyond disappointed and dissatisfied with UAGC. I first attended ashford that merged with UAGC during my first year and each year the costs has increased without better student care, learning resources and better engaging college professors. If you're going to spend over $1500 for one course I would expect better. The re-entry team promised me a grant to help towards my balance if I came back to register. It turn from yes we can too now I don't know we have to wait and see after you finish your... Read More

I decided to go back to school. I had attended when it was Ashford University. First of all, I had to switch to a different major because my prior major had been discontinued. I had 19 credits to finish in order to get my Bachelor's Degree. After enrolling, it changed to 30 (??). No one told me about this, so I called when I found out and was told that due to my new major, I had to take additional classes. My first class started on January 10, 2023. Two days later I received my financial aid award... Read More

None of the curriculum matches throughout the course. The professors are unable to edit any of the curriculum so when you point it out they tell you to just do the best you can. They provide little to no feedback for the reasoning for grades and do not take the classes seriously. There is no support from the main office or any of the advisors I was very disappointed and withdrew during my second class due to this. I am writing this so you don't waste your time like I did mine!

First of all, it's a degree mill. You will learn very little of value, and the only reason to attend is for a degree that will "check a box" so your resume is not filtered out by AI when you apply for jobs in the future. Professors give out assignment templates from when the university was still Ashford, which is concerning. Maybe a video from 2016 about a retired IT professional (On an Ashford hosted site, no less) isn't current enough to be taught in a college environment? Food for thought. The... Read More

I would like to urge everyone who reads this not to enroll in this university. The academic standards are low. The coursework is full of busywork which minimizes the learning. Most importantly, the school is money, hungry, and they will tell you anything you want to hear in order to get you to sign up for a course. On at least two occasions I have been told things that were absolutely not true, in order to convince me to sign up. Once I was told that I would get some work life credit for achievements... Often called a “diploma mill”, I can assure you it is not. I have worked harder at UAGC than I did at my Brick and mortar school. If you don’t apply yourself or underperform your grades will show it. As evidenced by the number of current students complaint about grades in the school’s Facebook student and alumni group. I believe the problems stem mainly from the fact that school is very very much for profit. The academic advisors feel more like call center sales agents than actual academic advisors,... Read More

I heard about this school back in 2017 from a coworker. I thought it was great because I working full time and was unable to get into the classes I needed to at my local colleges. This college is mainly about self-taught and self-motivation which I had no issues with since I have many experiences from my job to contribute to discussions and assignments. Most of the classes felt the same as the next. You briefly cover a topic and then the next class goes a little more in depth. Later classes, you... Read More

University seems to hire any (unqualified) person who applies to teach the graduate courses. Professors are rude and condescending in their communication, especially when they don't know the answer to a clarifying question, which is nearly always. Professors are just proctors for predetermined course outlines, so they actually have no idea what they are doing, or how to answer a true question or learning opportunity. My passion for psychology is now just giving way to "just finish this course so... Read More
