Brandman University provided me with a great, useful education. Their faculty and staff are really helpful and knowledgeable. The university is high quality, and a great place to obtain a degree, whether online or in-seat.

Brandman is a "non-profit" University of Phoenix. I was in the MBA program until I realized that the they were using the same business model as the for-profits. These guys are only in it for the money. They point to their WASC affiliation and connection to Chapman as indicators of quality. Don't be fooled: WASC also accredited the now defunct Corinthian College, and gets paid by member schools to qualify them to receive student loans. Chapman College, the prestigious school in Orange, provides no... Read More

I feel the pros of my graduate program consists of meeting new people and learning and applying business concepts to real world situations. The main con would be the price of textbooks.

At first I was nervous about attending Brandman University because I had never heard of it until I moved to California. I already had a BS from another school and wanted to begin a Master's Program but was unsure what I wanted to do so I just applied for the BBA. After talking with my advisor, she showed me how I could apply for the Master's Program and complete it within a year instead of doing two years to complete another Bachelor's Degree. Sometimes it is hard to get a response back from email,... Read More

The pros of this program is the amount of information that is gained and knowledge that you take away from each course.I would say the con is that I wish more professors would incorporate role playing and do more team projects instead of lengthy papers. Because ultimately it is our skills that is going to help get the job.

I feel that there needs to be better learning through better teachers. I have had a couple classes in which the teachers didn't seem to know the subject matter.

I obtained by BA through Chapman and am now working toward an MBA through Brandman online. They have been very accommodating and feel that my education has been top notch.

I love that the program was geared towards working professionals who want to get in and get out as soon as possible. I was able to complete my MA in 16 months so that was a definite plus. The only downside I can think of is the fact that classes were so fast paced that sometimes it was difficult to grasp certain concepts.

Great program, well worth the time and money invested. Great instructors with high academic standards, available to assist and answer questions, and provided solid academic advice.

Masters in Human Resources is only offered online. On campus classes would be a nice benefit since much of HR is not absolute and is based on facts and best practices. Many questions arise with online classes but direct communication with instructors would benefit me more. Brandman is an accelerated school that offers a good education with accessible classes. The staff are great and campuses are easy accessible with security for extra protection.
