This major sucks! It was a waste of time and tuition. The professors don’t care about your career goals. They get annoyed when you visit them during office hours to discuss the lectures and get career advice. The prelaw courses were nothing but busy work. Those courses did not help when I went to law school. Nor did this major help to improve my LSAT score.

If you’re interested in going to law school, pick a different major such as Business Administration.

There is no reason for any student who attends the University of Central Florida to not be prepared for a career. The faculty emphasizes using their services to get internships and experience. My advisers frequently informed me of opportunities available to me.

I believe this degree is very important in identifying patterns of domestic and international issues, and helping shape the political minds of tomorrow that will be implementing and executing plans to solve real-world problems. The International Relations track was very useful in that it requires two additional terms of a foreign language that I found to be very helpful in not only language barrier break-down, but also to understand the way that other societies interpret information via their language...
