The professors at UCF are committed to teaching their students. In the three years I spent there, every member of their staff cared more about their students than their paycheck. Often times I would find that the professor would grade assignments on the spot and would even answer emails in the middle of the night. I attended the Nicholson School of Communication at the University of Central Florida where I received my degree studying Interpersonal & Organizational Communication. While I loved the overall University and it's campus culture, this degree program left much to be desired. I believe this degree program isn't even offered any more. I gave the University of Central Florida a review of average because I think that I did not graduate with he above average knowledge that I would get compared to other seemingly better schools. I do believe my freshman year was above average. I learned a lot from UCF in my first year because they used to have an outstanding first year program. After your freshmen year it seems as if you're on your own but that could be where the real work begins in growing into an adult. For my major specifically... Read More I liked how the teachers were open and caring for you but it would only relate to their specific class. I think education encompasses more than just your major so that's why I gave UCF an average review. I do believe that the technology that UCF has is above average. They could increase the amount of locations they have for studying but printing on campus was pretty good and free. Great gym but there should be more of an emphasis on health because that is a huge factor in completing school and living life. I attend another school now and the teachers are always letting us know that if we need a job to let them know. And they have companies on campus at least a couple of times a week. There should really be no reason why someone doesn't have a job that wants one at the school I attend now. Can't say the same for UCF. They have fairs but it is only large fairs that happen occasionally.
