Although my program only just started, I feel like there is already a distinguishable, positive difference between my program at UCF and my previous school, where I am also completing my M.S. degree. Firstly, the attempt of faculty to acclimate the new cohort to graduate school, i.e., providing information on typical anxieties, how to apply for money, how to seek support, is something I lacked previously. I think this would have been great information to know when I started my M.S. degree; and would... Read More

The pros of this program are that you definitely feel like you are working on something worthwhile, something that you believe in and something you are learning a lot from. There is a huge workload, but I think that it is necessary for me to have, not only to keep busy, but also to show off to interviewers in the future. Tuition is very affordable, even more so now since the program participates in the Florida-Georgia ACM. The only con that I see is that the program is a little ways away from campus;... Read More

This graduate program immediately picks up where their sport and exercise science undergraduate program leaves off. Some of my professors are the same and others are new which is annoying. My graduate program also has an option to write a thesis or not, which I thought was weird because all grad students should write a thesis. Overall I would say I could have been tested harder in my courses.

This program has proven its quality, not only by being part of CAHME, but by the professors who create the environment for effective learning.

Very competitive. But competition is sometimes based on something ridiculous. So, eventually, an A-student might not really understand what's going on in his field study, he's just good in taking classes and exams.

It is challenging, but it helps improve the future of the students.

I think the program itself is top-notch. I have nothing but pros about the faculty, facilities, and courses. The only cons would be about the social life, and parking/transportation aspects of the University.

Our faculty is superb. Our professors are accomplished professionals in the field and really care about their students. I feel very fortunate to be able be a part of our Anthropology program.

This is my first semester although its a lot of material to cover.I am learning .The anatomy lab is state of the art.The dorm is comfotrtable. Parking easily accesible near dorm. The con for me was that I didn't get notice of assigned housing until one week before classes started. My move in day was sunday, Mothers Day and, school started the next day.

My pros of course is the networking. I don't have any cons.

A pro about my graduate program is that the classes are fairly small (20 students). It allows me to get a more personal experience. The con is that many classes are not offered on the same day. I am 50 miles off campus and have to drive to campus three times a week for three classes.

I am from Germany and make one year abroad here at the UCF. Compared to the universities where I studied yet you have a lot of possibilities to make sport or come together with other students. A Problem is (always compared to what I know from Germany), that the food is not good at all and the only thing you get is fastfood. Who likes it will maybe be happy with it. And Orlando is not a beautiful city. But all in all this university is the best I ever studied. Thumbs up for it.

UCF is a fun campus with great weather. The planetary science program is one of the best in the entire world.

in this day an age, I think a University should have a more professional website. my.UCF is very inconvenient. It is always slow and it is so hard to find anything on it. Also, I think we use have card access to all the buildings instead of using physical keys. Transportation to nearby apartments is really good, but it should go a little further. If UCF wants to be more competitive academically, it should focus on education and not growing even bigger. Bigger is not better.

The UCF math department is far from the best.

Though its not a high ranking university, its a nice place to learn and do research. The international community is very diverse-it will surely broaden one's social horizon. Faculty is supportive and caring. There are large number of places to roam around like Disney land, Universal studios, etc. The weather is good though a bit hot in summer but the beaches are not faraway! Overall, life is wonderful here-at least for me!
