UCF's PMSM Business Analytics program strikes the perfect balance between analysis, project management and computer science. As a student without prior coding experience, I was nervous about whether or not I would be able to keep up, but our professors do an excellent job of making sure we understand the concepts and have a vested interest in our academic and professional success. The resources provided to us our endless; our case studies are interesting and I am always able to apply something I've... Read More

It is a large, metropolitan university with areas of study for anyone. Getting access to the right faculty is the only challenge. With a warm climate in Orlando and a huge campus, there is something for anyone's interests.

My executive MBA program has exceeded my expectations. The draw for me was how the program speaks of the ability to interact with others from different industries to discusses how different business management practices are applied. However, what was not touted as a benefit was the cultural, generational, and managerial level diversity of the individuals that they sellect to be in the cohort. This diversity has been a wonderful addition to the discussions and teaching techniques of the professors.... Read More

I love the Hospitality and Tourism Management Masters program at UCF. The faculty are all very extremely knowledgeable and have shown great interest in all of their students. The learning experiences that I have had during this program have helped to accelerate my career. The only con that I have about the program is that it is rather new to the online/mixed mode style of teaching. This has caused some issues with clarity in the program, but it gets better every semester.

I received my Bachelor’s degree from UCF and chose to stay with the same University for Master’s degree. I have considered applying to universities in different states, universities with higher ranking, but UCF was my first choice. During pursuit of my Bachelor’s degree I have enjoyed every class I have taken and appreciated each professor. UCF offers networking opportunities, career services, and other events that I plan to attend. UCF has a unique externship program that I have participated in... Read More

No complaints. I learned a good deal at my Masters program (UF). Not so much at my undergrad school. UCF was more of a experience that I will never forget. Joining a fraternity helped mold me into the person that I am today. Without that experience I do not know where I would be.

Rosen College of Hospitality Management, within the University of Central Florida, is one of the top hospitality and tourism colleges in the United States. Located in the hub of Orlando, Florida, is the perfect environment to learn about the hospitality and tourism industry. Coming from New York, I wanted to come to Rosen so that I could completely immerse myself in the life down here and make sure I got the best graduate school experience possible. The faculty is a mixture of people from all over... Read More

UCF is fast improving. The university is always investing in research, which is beneficial to everyone involved in the university. The surrounding area, however, is not the greatest. Crosswalks at the entrances of the university are quite dangerous and there’s quite a bit of crime in the city around the campus. The career support seems to be meant for students who’ve never had a job. It would be beneficial to see some more/better networking for students who already have a job in their industry, and... One of the biggest pros of this program is that it's geared toward working professionals. The classes are set days and times, twice a week, in the evening. Another pro is that it is offered on the regional campuses of UCF. If I had to drive over an hour to and from school twice a week or take mostly online classes to get a Masters degree, I would've never pursued this degree. A con of this program would be the quality of laptops provided to the students. For a $40,000 program, it seems they could've... Read More
