Graduate school is tough, but not unbearable. If you put in the time and effort to excel then you will do just that. Most of the classes are offered at night, so you have the flexibility to work and go to school. The staff in Nicholson School of Communication are very supportive and are willing to help every student. I would definitely recommend this graduate program if you are interested in research and communications

The communication sciences and disorders program is very good. My only complaint or con is I felt we needed a stronger anatomy course and I also felt like I wasn't prepared to work in all settings following graduation. Every kind of setting needs to be a required practicum site. Everything else, professors, classes, etc were above expectations.

The faculty are knowledgeable and experienced in the field and most professors are readily available to meet with students. The university also offers diverse opportunities... Read More

The thesis experience was the most challenging and rewarding part of the graduate program. Even those going into industry should consider a thesis in order to get the full experience of designing a research experiment from beginning to end.

The pros to my graduate program is that it offers a variety of professional careers in which I can choose to utilize it upon graduation. The greatest con thus far is the limited amount of courses and times offered to meet my schedule needs.
