UCF's College of Education had excellent professors, advising, and curriculum. The blended learning format was practical for working teachers and relied heavily on classroom experiences, which was beneficial.

I am currently seeking my Master's in Special Education. It is my first term and so far, I am very pleased with the course deliveries. The Professors provide so much resources and classroom applications in each module. I am currently taking online classes but some of the classes will be on campus in my next term. UCF has a wonderful reputation and it also provides a great campus life full of activities, wellness centers, eateries and greenery.

I loved going to UCF because I stayed close to home and saw my friends from high school. The commute was short and I didn't have to pay for room and board.

The University of Central Florida in located just east of downtown Orlando. There are many educational choices. Students gain a great education for a great price. Online classes are mixed with comps classes making commuting to campus less stressful. I highly recommend UCF for their programs, research, teachers and staff and their competitive edge.

I love my graduate program. I truly feel like the program director knows me. She takes time to make sure each student is happy within their classes, takes time to set an effective program of study, and is the teacher of most the classes.I truly think this program is helping me pursue my passion and that is something I feel not many people can say. The program takes a look at a real world approach to education. It helps us look at how to take our students to a route that is going to help them be successful.... Read More

The University of Central Florida is a beautiful campus however the education department is older and could use some updating. A pro about the education program is that it offers a lot of opportunities to network and up-to-date on technology. A con would be that the number of classes for the education program are very limited.

The ALIMA program is highly flexible, allowing the students to choose from a wide variety of graduate classes based on their interests. It can either be taken as fully online courses or as evening courses, and it was created with the working student in mind. The advisors of the program encourage their students to have a part-time or a full-time job while they are in the program, but it is not a requirement. There is a heavy emphasis on applying the materials that we are learning in our classes to... Read More

The pros are that its convenient to have all the classes be online traveling everyday to attend classes would be impossible for me. Cons not all assignments instructions are clear they can be very vague and you don't know what the professor is asking for.

The program that I am currently enrolled in provides an opportunity for students like me to succeed. One good aspect about this program is that it is completely online. The only downfall is not seeing professors face to face. The faculty staff within in this program take genuine pride in helping students succeed. In all this program gives a great advantage to students who are interested in teaching at the community college level.

My graduate program has offered me a worthwhile education and experience. I came into graduate school with the desire to attain my Master's degree in Instructional Design & Technology so that I could transition from teaching into becoming an Instructional Systems Designer. I was able to transition from teaching with a dynamic organization - before I graduate in August 2013. UCF has been excellent in nearly every facet imaginable. I only wish that I had qualified for more free money. I have not qualified... Read More

There is an extraordinary sense of community within the UCF MAT English Education program and the UCF Education programs in general. Faculty and advisers are always willing and happy to help students and are excellent resources for both information and career planning/networking. The classes are interesting and thought-provoking without being overwhelming. The online-only format of some courses can become frustrating if professors incorrectly set up assignments or deadlines or do not respond to... Read More
