The program maintains an academic focus that will help students graduate and become eligible for board certification as a nurse practitioner. Due to the online format there is a feeling of disconnect from the traditional campus life. However, through the use of video chat sessions and other high tech communication tools the measurable distance between ones hometown and the UC campus all but disappears. I felt very welcomed by my fellow graduate student cohort and advisers, and still maintain a network of communication with many of them today.

I was born and raised in Cincinnati so, I love this city and it has been an honor to attend graduate school at UC. I'm a student in the Online MSN program. The admissions counselors were difficult to get in touch with, but once I was able to contact them, their responses were always helpful. The application process was very straightforward, and the time to decision was excellent- 2 or 3 weeks. This program costs half what other similar programs cost, and allows for a greater number of clinical sites than its competitors.
