The admission team is excellent, they helped me every step of the way with the admission process. The classes are well structured, as is the curriculum. The academic advisers are also excellent & happy to answer any questions I may come up with. I love working with the Blackboard learning system, it's easy to submit my assignments & access any course information.

Very disorganized program and confusion among staff about who is responsible for what. Students were left to figure a lot of things out on their own. I have heard this from others who were in the program with me and there unfortunately isn't one student from our cohort who would recommend the program to friends.

The University of Cincinnati's Adult-Gero Nurse Practitioner Program is a competitive masters program that prepares students to sit for their boards. UC's distance-learning option allows students to work from home and listen to lectures on their own time. Professors are easily accessible via email and program coordinators are consistently checking in on students to make sure they are on track with classes.

My program allows me to utilize distance learning in order to maintain a full time job in a different state where I live with my husband and hold a full time job. It can be difficult to stay engaged not having an actual class to go to on campus but if you are a motivated person it isn't an issue.

The University of Cincinnati allows students to either take online classes or travel to campus and take classes. So, for someone who lives in Columbus, like me, students can still attend a fantastic school while still working full time and maintaining their same lifestyle. This school has the most amazing Enrollment Advisors, who make sure each student is getting through the application and registration process smoothly.

I am ONLINE 100%. Pros are being able to obtain my education online, otherwise it would be impossible for me to obtain this degree. CONS: some classes are unorganized, instructors not committed to their students.......AND the college is VERY expensive..............

Excellent professors give you the tools and knowledge you need to work in one of Cincinnati's many hospitals or out patient care facilities. I'm a student in the Online MSN program. The admissions counselors were difficult to get in touch with, but once I was able to contact them, their responses were always helpful. The application process was very straightforward, and the time to decision was excellent- 2 or 3 weeks. This program costs half what other similar programs cost, and allows for a greater number of clinical sites than its competitors. I am so glad to have chosen UC, and cannot wait to complete my degree! Strongly recommend... Read More

This is a very thorough online program. However, I would strongly suggest anyone whose computer skills are only average, take a course before starting this program. The workload in some courses is very heavy and my tech skill are lacking adding to the difficulty of the program. The professors have been very knowledgeable and competent in their field.
