I enjoyed UC, however their MSW program needs a lot of work and was not that much different than their BSW program that I completed a few years ago.

College was great. Learn a lot about your field of interest, professors were great mentors, met great people.

It was, without a doubt, the best decision I made. Going to college is a game-changer when it comes to getting a decent job!

The academic programs were highly accomplished, which knowledgeable professions and insightful classes. The urban campus is large and best suited for students who want that large-scale atmosphere.

The Social Work program at UC was poorly run, did not challenge students, and did not adequately teach students to prepare for the job field.

I'm in my first year of graduate school after graduating from UC with my undergraduate degree. I like the school and the quality of my education but campus safety was and still is a big concern.

I feel that I am participating in a very good graduate program. We have staff that are not only teaching, but also currently working in the field and have practical experience. I feel that we are learning a lot from this program, and the teachers are there to support us and help us to do well. The only con I can think of is that most of the teachers are adjunct professors. This means that it can be hit or miss with how well the professor teaches the course.

University of Cincinnati has a really great Masters of Social Work program. I love that I have field placement each semester for a two year program.

Small class sizes allows me to interact with my peers and instructors more, which I love.

I feel that the faculty and staff are committed to helping the students.

I think the field placement under the MSW program has really helped me understand the field of Social Work better.

The pros of my graduate program are: 1. Field experience all year long, so it can be a potential hired job. 2. Advanced classes so I get to graduate faster. The cons of my graduate program are: 1. Advanced classes so the speed will be faster. 2. The cost of graduate classes.

Pros- same teachers, same buildings Cons- repetitive classes, not as prepared as I thought, especially for licensure process, semi-weak assignments (I feel they could have been more out in the field, rather than in the books, considering the repetition of classes)

As with any school there are positives and negatives. The school generally does a good job of reaching out and supporting the students in whatever capacity. The is a balanced group of students when it comes to diversity. The work load is intense, depending on the class and professor. Overall, the program is effective and is continue to work to provide a better experience for its students.
