I have several degrees/diplomas/certificates from academics and find it very discouraging that the UOPX has so much potential to become the best online university today but sometimes are not hiring their best. Unfortunately, their best do not come from the UOPX because they can't hire graduates that have both Masters and Doctorate degrees from UOPX because it is a conflict of interest. The instructors that are hired are from "OTHER ACCREDITED" universities. The downfall is the lack of participation... Read More

The curriculum is fast-paced and very detailed. It is a must for the student to plan ahead to ensure all assignments are completed and turned in on time. The peers are fabulous and are a great support system when needed. There is a lot of reading material, and downtime is non-existent. Again, it is imperative to be able to juggle family, career and school.

I appreciated the flexibility of the online program. The academic counselors and financial aide counselors were right on top of their respective areas of expertise the entire time. Classes were interesting and diverse offering many perspectives and opinions of various subjects. The expectations and course requirements were plainly visible at the beginning of each new course and the instructors were always helpful when problems arose.

I really love the online learning. It provides me the flexibility that I need. Some of the instructors are great and make themselves available day or night. The first year residency could have been more informative with more work that would have given me the opportunity to gain knowledge that was gear toward my specific degree program.

I received my MBA from this university and now I'm pursuing my DBA. I feel that I'm in a great program and I'm glad I decided to return to the University of Phoenix.

The best aspect of my doctoral program is the knowledge driven approach is applicable in real-live experiences. The Professors critically review and provide pertinent feedback relevant to the assignment and discussion questions. The fellow learners are engaged in the class discussions with creates an interactive and balanced learning experience.

I am a beginning doctoral student, and I enjoy my concentration of study. The present time is being spent largely on coursework readying oneself for the dissertation process. The program is SPL (scholar-practitioner-leader) model with emphasis on scholarship and practical application. I am hopeful about my intentions for my degree which is to help others with the benefit of my education.

I am a doctoral student from the University of Phoenix Online. I have been a student and completed two degree programs since 2003(BS in Criminal Justice, MBA/TM) and currently am enrolled in the Doctorate of Management Program. I have enjoyed networking and gained considerable knowledge at the University of Pheonix in both degree programs. I have a deep respect for the facilitators and instructors who I have had the priviledge of working with throughout the years. There have always been issues with... Read More

The doctoral program has changed my life tremendously since my first day. The Scholar, Practitioner, and Leadership model is something that I implement everyday in my personal and professional life.

I really enjoy the University of Phoenix. I will be graduating with my MBA in November and am proud to say I will also be starting the Organizational Leadership Doctorate Program in January. The only things I wish were different would be the time to get financial aid monies, dealing with learning teams and the overall price of the school. Otherwise I am one happy student. Thank you.

Lots of work in the Graduate program. Much more work than traditional doctorate programs.

I am in the doctorate program at the University of Phoenix, I have found it to be challenging but rewarding. I am not sure exactly at this point what I intend to do once I have completed my program next year but regardless the educational and learning experience is still very rewarding and allows learners to look at problems or issues from a scholarly direction while providing the tools necessary to implement change as a practitioner.
