More involvement and understanding by dissertation committee to move through QRM. UOP might want to consider reviewing their tuition costs to compete with other online colleges. I did enjoy their ability based grading philosophy being a former Alverno College graduate.

Degree: Organizational Leadership

I attended University of Phoenix (online) from 2007-2011. My initial enrollment was for a Doctorate in Education, but I switched to Management during my first residency. The residencies were all in person, and you get to choose your location, with options located throughout the country: I chose Virginia. Previous to my enrollment, my career involved designing course-ware, and conducting professional-level training for adults in the military or government agencies. I know how courses should be structured,... Read More

UOP established the bar for online learning. The programs that are offered at UOP meets the learner where they are and in the format that will help them accomplish their education goals. There are advisors at each step of the enrollment process to help the student with the choices they have to make to start the program, be successful throughout their coursework, and support them with career decisions upon completion of their programs.

The University of Phoenix offers various programs with a goal of helping the adult learner. Classes are structured in the evenings, accelerated, and taught by instructors with years of experience. The online classes allow individuals to complete his or her studies during the hours that best suit them. I also appreciate the rigorous curriculum. I highly recommend this institution.

The university of Phoenix was tough at times did not receive a lot of interaction or explanation with the facilitator. However I found a way to finish many of the classes were interesting. I believe that you learn much more on your own because you are basically on your own the curriculum was fast passed this was real so if your a self starter, motivated and not a quitter try it out. The courses are expensive at the doctoral level your best bet is to study hard if you want to graduate. At the moment... Read More

I will complete my doctoral degree August of 2017. I received my master's degree from University of Phoenix (online) in 2012 and I knew I wanted to enroll in a doctoral program but I was unsure of which one to choose. I spoke with my Academic Advisor and he graciously listened to all of my concerns and answered all of my questions. After speaking with him and learning about the Doctorate of Management program, I decided to continue my journey. Continuing my education was a huge investment for me... Read More

Degree: Organizational Leadership

The University of Phoenix is great. I have learned a lot. The classes are small enough to receive one-on-one attention from the instructors, and large enough to gather great information from one's fellow students. I am a Senior Engineer, I have worked in the industry for over 20 years and I would recommend the University of Phoenix to all working professionals. The gained knowledge is world-class and the instructors, administrators and all fellow students are professional and reflect a wealth of... Read More

Degree: Organizational Leadership

I found this a very good program for working professionals. At this time I pursued my doctoral ambitions, there were very few doctoral programs available that would allow me to work and attend school. Unlike some online doctoral programs, UoPhx still has us complete a research dissertation with full academic rigor. While this may seem like a pain, you want to have this experience. The cost was a little high, but you pay for the flexibility of attending school when you want instead of set class times.... Read More

Because of the online curriculum, many of the categories for ratings do not apply, such as campus living, transportation, safety, and security. These are actually some of the better aspects of the online service: The ability to learn and attain an affordable education in the comfort of your own home, or wherever you chose to conduct studies. The University of Phoenix Online Doctoral Program fits my needs in every aspect.
