The class pieces to respond to other classmates as attendance seems more like busy work rather than testing your academics and knowledge.
Working through the financial aspect, there are always delays with FASFA processing and taking too long, therefore needing to take out subsidized loans before class starts when it could have been funded by your grants.
Getting in contact with counselors, or being transferred to multiple departments when you have an issue is extremely disorganized and never completed... Read More

They walked me through the entire application process, including obtaining financial aid. Obtaining my transcripts for transfer credits was a breeze. Any time I have had an issue, I was able to find a faculty member or a staff member to help me resolve it. The faculty and staff here are helpful and knowledgeable.

I made the best decision attending this College. I was a little scared at first but everyone has made this super easy. The call and check on me and everything, we are family. If you are reading this and plan on attending any college and you do not pick University of Phoenix then you did not pick the right college.

My experience earning a B.S. in Management at the University of Phoenix was overwhelmingly positive, and the program met my expectations and then some. As a working professional, my top priorities were flexibility, generous credit transfer, and the ability to get academic credit for my real-world work experience. The University of Phoenix delivered exceptionally well on all three fronts, making it possible for me to pursue my degree without putting my career on hold.
The curriculum itself was both... Read More
The instructors were professional and knowledgeable, meeting the expectations for their roles. Where UoPX truly excels is in its online platform. It's arguably one of the best out there; it's intuitive, stable, and clearly designed for students who are balancing school with other commitments.
My final recommendation is this: If you are a working professional who needs to earn a formal credential like a Bachelor's or Master's degree, the University of Phoenix is an outstanding choice. However, if your goal is purely to build a specific skill without the need for a full degree, there are likely more focused and less expensive options available. For my goals, it was the perfect vehicle for success.

I attended Phoenix to break through the glass ceiling holding back career progression. In that regard, it has met the need. In every other regard, I regret enrolling there. The experience I have had with Phoenix however leaves much to be desired. From start to finish, their financial aid office did not have my financial aid sorted out. My various paperwork was always early and frequently turned in during the first half of February at the latest. My tenure involved almost weekly calls involving payment... Read More

As a single mom, finding a school that fits my unique needs has been a challenge—until I found this one. From the moment I enrolled, I felt supported, understood, and encouraged. The staff has always gone above and beyond to help me navigate everything from class scheduling to financial aid. They truly understand that students come from all walks of life, and they work hard to accommodate those of us balancing parenting, work, and school.

As a current student pursuing my Bachelor’s in Accounting through the University of Phoenix, I can confidently say this program has exceeded my expectations. The flexibility of the online platform has been a game-changer for balancing my education, family, and real estate career. The instructors are knowledgeable and incredibly supportive — they don’t just grade your work, they engage with it.

I have had a very positive experience pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Accounting through the University of Phoenix's online program. From the outset, the enrollment process was smooth, and the advisors were incredibly helpful in guiding me through every step, from credit transfers to financial aid options.

I like the teachers and get a lot out of the discussions and homework. The only issue i am having is I have emailed my academic advisor and ahe never got back to me which is very frustrating. My last class cre.ative thinking was very good. The teacher was involved every step of the way

The University of Phoenix has surpassed my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to further their education. They are very thorough with their communication and kind and compassionate to my needs. When I have a question, the response time is prompt and courteous. There is also follow-up communication, which surprised me. There are also a lot of resources for study groups and direct access to the administration if needed.

The University of Phoenix, by all means, is a good school. When put into perspective why this school came to be what it is, it is for the working adult. We have to make the time that works best for us and use that as an opportunity to learn the material and pass our classes. I make this point because there are comments regarding the teaching style. Yet, many need to remember that as working individuals, we cannot attend classes at a specific time along with other students; this idea defeats the purpose... Read More

I feel like I wasted time and money on my degree. I have had a really hard time getting the career I want. The only thing my degree has help me with is getting my foot in the door to low paying jobs. I don’t think employers take this degree seriously. I was just told by a recruiter I should take the name of the school off my resume. I wouldn’t waste your time or money.

It was truly the worst mistake of my life choosing this school for my education. My bachelors degree is costing me 55 thousand dollars and I’m teaching myself. There is no instruction from professors. I thought there would be some kind of virtual classroom environment where professors actually teach, but nope. You have your textbooks and your assignments and you’re basically on your own. If you reach out to professors about struggling with the material, you’re met with encouraging words to keep going….... The curriculum and instructors are great and I would recommend U of Phoenix on those aspects. But I will warn that this is a for-profit school and I had the misfortune of dealing with the financial departments shady and aggressive tactics. I recently re-enrolled to finish my BS and that process went smooth. I had already completed the first week of class when I found they had charged my debit card on file $1194.00. When I called to find out why, I was informed my financial aid didnt go through so... Read More

This place s**** they lie and then take your money without a possibility of getting your degree cause of how much it cost, they tell you one thing and then change the classes available half way through. Save your money and time and go to a different school, the financial advisors are dumb and don't know how to calculate how much you really need to graduate. I was left in debt with no degree

This school throws information at you and that is about it. There is no actual teaching done here. So far I have learned nothing to help me in my career and also tuition went up without notice. Stay away. This school is a ripoff and not worth your money.

I was a working single mother when I completed my degree. UoPs online classes made it possible for me to support my family while getting a degree. I know many people give UoP bad reviews but I beg to differ. After completing my BS I earned my CPA. The BS in Accounting gave me the foundation I needed to pass the exam. Before UoP I was making under $40k now I'm making $89.5k.

Throughout the time that I was in school, I worked a full time job, tried to take care of things at my household, and was also working on becoming healthier. I just completed my Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, and it was very pleasant - challenging but pleasant. I made many friends during my four years at the University of Phoenix, and I must admit that the advisors and professors were very skilled (most of whom had a CPA or Ph.D. and worked in the field). Overall, I did 40 courses that expanded my knowledge in accounting, finance, economics, and management. However, the time and energy took its toll. In the end, my final GPA was 3.93.
