I've been with UoP for my bachelors and masters programs. I have seen a positive change to the curriculum, staff and overall student experience. The education I received was top notch; the professors responded immediately with professionalism and overall a great attitude. I reached out to several different departments as I needed assistance navigating the financial aspect as I was using Post 9/11 and Chapter 35 to pay for school as well as the RA department. Every staff member was extremely helpful... Read More

The courses are well-organized, the course content is authoritative and well-written, and the professors are subject matter experts who communicate effectively and facilitate our learning, respond to our questions in a timely manner, and foster a healthy learning environment.

I love my experience, but I have to see what impact it will have in my career. I am hoping that graduated students have some sort of career path into the careers with UOP. I have applied time and time and again with relevant experience and my degrees from UOP and yet do not hear back. That makes me nervous.

My online experience at UOP had been amazing! The staff is very easy to work with and the classes were all self explanatory. The instructors were always willing to help with any challenges that were faced . I would highly recommend anyone trying to go back to school while balancing work and a family to try UOP it worked for me as a single mom in a state with no family . If I could do it so can you !!

Great tuition and easy to follow classroom learning which helps with the everyday demands of family and friends, as well as job/ career for those who are working while going to school for their degree.
The instructors always seemed fair with the grading rubric and were involved in the instruction of the class.

I had an amazing experience and the school worked with me when I was going through some hard times. I love that they were able to help me find a solution so I can stay on course and not give up. I would recommend their online course to everyone who is interested in continuing their career because they make it doable even as a wife, mom, full time employee and graduated with double honors.

I had a good time at UoPX. I do wish that with my maintaining a 4.0 that some of the scholarships I applied for had been rewarded to me. I convinced my husband to attend UoPX and now he is pursuing is BS. I hope that UoPX expands their course offerings, especially for Therapy, as it's not offered in my state. I would like to attend again and pursue another degree but as of right now, nothing interests me at the moment. Thank you for the great experience.

I have had a great experience with the program. In 2017, I began to attend University of Phoenix to acquire my bachelor's degree in business management. Once I completed my bachelor's degree, I went on to acquire my MBA from 2020 to 2021. Late 2023, I decided to pursue a degree in psychology and to my surprise I found the I-O Psychology. It has been a great benefit to have taken this program and definitely had a great time. Everyone from the financial, administrative, my counselor and the professors... Read More

University of Phoenix is AMAZING in every way. Being a full-time employee and a full-time student had some difficult moments, but with the structure and resources provided by University of Phoenix, finding my way was possible. The academic team, the finance team, and the faculty are so helpful and supportive in all the right ways. Never told my degree would be useless, now I have to pay for another masters degree elsewhere. Useless. DO NOT GO HERE AND PURSUE THE PSYCHOLOGY PROGRAM IF YOU WANT TO ACTUALLY WORK IN PSYCHOLOGY OR SOCIAL WORK IN ANY CAPACITY. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

I am rather puzzled by the negative or poor rating by many bloggers about this University. I transferred from another Canadian University to complete my Master's Program and found the coursework, professors and learning to be exceptional. Perhaps the least favourite was the teamwork requirement when other students were not as motivated or interested to put in the effort to get good grades. In hindsight, that experience compelled a higher learning principle which often plays itself out in the work... Read More

After wanting a change in careers I returned to school in 2013 after 30 years in the workforce. I went on to choose the University of Phoenix because of the non-traditional education factor. The application process was streamlined and the financial aid process was easier than I expected. I believe in investing in my future was well worth the price of the education. The instructor is working in the industries they are facilitating and relationships are developed for individuals who are serious about... Read More

I wish I had waited and chosen a different school. UOP is an ok school but doesn't carry any weight when it comes to getting jobs in NY state. I payed too much for a degree that I wish I had done differently.
