As a recent graduate of the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, my experience was both rewarding and fulfilling. I chose the University of Phoenix because of its flexibility and reputation for supporting working adults. Balancing a full-time job, family responsibilities, and coursework was never easy, but the online classes and the instructors made it manageable.
What I enjoyed most was the application of the curriculum in real-life scenarios. The assignments allowed... Read More
Compared to other programs I had looked into, the University of Phoenix felt more tailored to my learning style. The support that I received from academic advising was reliable, and they were very responsive. If you're a working professional looking to advance your education and career without putting your life on hold, I’d recommend considering the University of Phoenix.

Honestly, I have had a good and bad experience. When I completed my Bachelor's degree it was a bit stressful because I was given different information from different employees concerning books and other things. My Master's program has been good so far. Instruction has been decent. The PLA should be a little more broad, if in fact this is a college for working adults. I also think the cost is a bit expensive for the level of interaction from educators. They should give students the option of completing... Read More

The class assignments were well-detailed and thoroughly put together. The instructors were available if I had any questions. The grading scale was sufficient and easy to understand. I appreciate it when my academic advisor checks in with me to see how I'm doing in my classes.

The University of Phoenix has been a blessing to me. I have learned so much by challenging myself in this program. I will recommend this school to all my family and friends. I am already contemplating starting my doctorate degree at the university. I am looking forward to graduating in September.

I’ve received three degrees here as well as a undergrad cert. I will be back to obtain my doctorate. I learned a lot and also became more disciplined with my time and energy. Having the opportunity to focus on the end goal and being able to see already the doors that are opening for me is a blessing. Thanks UOP!

Coming from the traditional way of receiving an education (in person), the online structure was initially intimidating. The University of Phoenix (UoPx) has gone above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and prepared to enter this virtual educational experience. Their academic advisors touch base regularly with encouragement, motivation, and time for questions and/or concerns. The instructors/professors are available, experienced, and knowledgeable. I have had a great experience with UoPx.

Some instructors were a hit or miss. But, there’s some good instructors that actually cares for their students, and their students wellbeing and success. Overall, my time there was most productive and definitely meaningfully memorable. I enjoyed my time as a student.

I really enjoyed the school and competency based program. Most of the professors were absolutely amazing and you could tell that they truly wanted their students to be successful in their course. The self-paced aspect of the program was great and the supportive staff helped students stay on track. Overall it was an incredible experience and I have already recommended the school and program to others.

I decided on UOP for my MBA and certificate in accounting to sit for the CPA exam. My undergrad was from community college and SDSU. Those school financial aid departments always had a solution and never had any kind of errors in disbursements, and if they did they did not hold me accountable for their mistakes. For the most part, the instructors are great and very knowledgeable not only about the course work but with actual experience in the field they are teaching. The online resources are also... I have had a great experience with this school. The assignments were challenging. I earned both a bachelor's and a masters degree and continually get job offers because of them. I continually see negative comments about the UOP and can't help but wonder is it the individual that's lacking.

I would highly recommend the University of Phoenix for several key reasons. As a military member, they are very accommodating in the idea of time. Being able to conduct military matters and attend class when I have time without a penalty of being late is a huge draw. The School has been willing to work with financial issues and are experts at the use of tuition assistance. Being stationed overseas the biggest hurdle is the time difference, which the university has helped with by allowing penalty... Read More

The University of Phoenix Online Program offers great outcomes to any student who has the desire to strengthen and heighten their education level. UofP support from the beginning (with orientation) to the end (with graduation) has the proper foundation and formula for any students professional and personal development and growth. Based on my experience with the UofP the administrative staff, tutoring staff, professors and other university's resources truly represents the rise of the phoenix. As... Read More

2011 is the year I resigned from UOP. In my experience, there were too many factors that led me to the conclusion that students were not receiving the education they paid for. Many times, the focus of leadership was to keep students from complaining and therefore faculty were more often than not to lower the bar on assignments and classroom assessments of learning. Weekly papers are used to determine most of what makes up a grade. Plagiarism is rampant and many faculty members would rather overlook... Read More

A great opportunity to explore new topics and become better at something you love. A way to build a foundation for a future career. What you get out of it is based on how much effort you put into it. There's a lot more to college than the classroom.

The whole process from start to finish was a positive experience. The counselors even walked me through applying for financial aid and stayed on the phone until I was finished. The instructors were very well prepared and the lessons were planned. I loved that I was able to take one course every six weeks until I completed my program. I would definitely recommend the University of Phoenix. Every year I participate in the Homecoming event in the city nearest me. It's great fun and a great opportunity... Read More

My college experience I felt way more alone than I needed to. I tried to be more independent and you were encouraged to be self sufficient, but ultimately you have to learn when it's necessary to seek help and resources .
