I attended the University of Phoenix at the Tulsa, Oklahoma campus and graduated with honors in 2005 with a B.S. in Management. My facilitators were awesome and provided real life feedback during class sessions and assignments that I could immediately take back to the my job. It was my choice to attend University of Phoenix online campus because of the simply, the convenience of learning. I am a full time employee, mother and wife. To complete my Masters Degree and walk across the stage. Im in my 11th course of 14 and am more and more excited everyday to know that Im getting closer to finishing what I started and setting a good example for my family.

Awesome is the word I would say that describes my experience at The University of Phoenix. When someone mention to me that I should go back to school online, I laughed at that idea and say it was impossible. Well, I am here to say that it is possible. The courses are broken down into segments and the professor make sure that you are equip with the necessary tools to succeed. The University of Phoenix Online Graduate program provides the flexibility that I needed to succeed as a full time employee and student. My instructors have been very knowledgeable in the various subjects and interject dialog that is thought provoking and relevant to current events. The University... Read More of Phoenix learning teams help to shrink the overwhelming feeling of studying complex concepts outside of a physical classroom. After a few classes, you start to get a feel for fellow classmates. What may have began as a large virtual world, starts to shrink to familiar "screen" faces and personalities. The University attempts to provide order to what could be a chaotic situation by providing templates for groups to communicate their schedules and availability with teammates. Overall, the University of Phoenix does a great job at providing literary resources, available staff, and online tools to help students succeed while gaining as much from the online venue as in physical classrooms. One caveat: one has to be disciplined in order to be successful in online masters courses. If it is not an existing quality, it's one you'll gain shortly after starting your coursework!

I did not get any help with job placement and no support from my counselor poor customer service and I would like to go back only if I see quality customer service I am half way done with my masters degree and because I had death in my family I fell behind and end up not being supported by anyone to help me get back into my program my GPA fell to a 2.75 and was not up to part to meet the requirements of my student loan I would like a opportunity to continue my education and someone that is concern... I recently was reviewing some of the posts that people had commmented about the school. From the beginning, I was pretty much helped and have had no problems with my loans or any advisor. On the contrary, the schools is wonderful at communicating with me every few weeks. It seems like they are "holding my hand" as far as loans and anything related to my schedule goes.

The learning process: well that is another story. I am not sure what instructors some people have gotten, but I have had it rough.... Read More Each course is a challenge and each paper is another challenge. No one has helped my complete my assignments, but myself and it is A LOT of hard work. The instructors are very nice and willing to help us out whenever we need.

I have successfully completed my Bachelor's in Business with an emphasis in Management and I am a few courses from completing my Master's in Management. If anyone thinks that it is "too easy" then, you are quite intelligent and should try Harvard or MIT...let me know how that works out for you!
