This online educational learning program gave me utmost respect to the online learning programs. To elaborate more on this online programs, I reside in American Samoa. This is a country that do not have access to Universities. I received my Masters in the University of Phoenix through their online program. I am thankful for online programs that we have a chance to work at the same time while attending college. And most of all, it gives us in American Samoa a chance not to leave families while at... I received my MBA from University of Phoenix in 2013. That experience was very streamlined and I enjoyed the program. I recently decided that I would go back for my Master of Education this year. I was wrong, this has been the worst decision that I could have ever made. In their effort to become better, actually made it worst. From day one Ive had enrollment reps who were not well versed on the program they represent. Through my own research on google, I completed my enrollment requirements! Navigating... Read More

During my course of study I felt challenged, and my instructors provided great insight and feedback. However, I often question if my degree is taken as seriously as those from other colleges and universities because of University of Phoenix's reputation.

University of Phoenix on line Masters Program was demanding yet rewarding. As a mother of three and working professional who had not been in school since 1993, I was concerned if I had the stamina to undertake the challenge of getting my Masters On line. I found the UOPX to be a perfect fit for my learning needs and relevant to what I wanted to gain from a Masters Degree. Although it was demanding and required a great discipline of time management, I found that it also provided great flexibility... Read More

The University of Phoenix is an amazing option for those who would like to further their education and career goals, but still need to accommodate the demands of their existing, daily-life commitments. I was planning to pursue my teaching credential this fall, but discovered after submitting all of my graduate school applications that I would be having my first baby in October. I quickly began the search for graduate school possibilities that I could accomplish while home with my baby--and University... Read More

I went to the University of Phoenix (UOP) to become an elementary school. UOP taught the minimum of knowledge and skills. They do not prepare you for the tests (CSET, TPAs 1-4, or RICA) or teach you much on teaching. Because they do not give exams, there's no pressure for you to learn or study. I have finished all my courses in their master's program and received 3.83 GPA, but because I am having to learn reading skills for children on my own, I need to wait to take RICA. (Think about it, I finished... Read More

University of Phoenix has prepared me to be an elementary teacher. As a result of the continuous writing assignments, I am a much improved writer due to this school and this program. The online format fit my schedule perfectly; I could attend class whenever and wherever I needed to do so. While the team component of the University can be challenging (and sometimes downright maddening), these situations happen in the real world. We, as professionals, must know how to work with others, contribute to... Read More

Being able to complete my master's degree while working full-time was a challenge, but well worth the effort. The counselors were amazing and helpful in my completing my degree.

I took online classes and learned a lot, more than traditional classes. It was also very helpful to work for a few years and then get my Masters degree. I was more mature and motivated to learn.

It was purely done on-line. Took fast track and finished my degree in less than a year and a half. The instructors were very compassionate, and knew their stuff to help facilitate great learning.

My experience at Phoenix was awesome. I completed every level of degree there except Doctorate. This is only because I am not ready to begin these courses. Each and everyone of the professors were well prepared and great at engaging the students. Each of them made themselves available to the students and answered questions and concerns promptly. The school has a tutoring program to help students who are having difficulty. Every one of the advisors keep in contact with you and make sure you understand... Read More

University of Phoenix is an institution which allows any individual to continue their education on their own time and own space. Students can choose from online courses, blended courses, or on campus courses to best fit their needs. The enrollment advisers work hard to make sure you meet all requirements and communicate with you as soon as possible. The response times are phenomenal and I would like to make a shout out to Edward Shipley who has made strides to work with students and answer any question... Read More

I recommend University of Phoenix to anyone who is working full time and trying to better themselves with a degree. University of Phoenix allowed me to continue working and receive my Associates, Bachelors and Masters Degrees online while working and providing for my family without having to be away from my family while doing it. The class schedules vary depending on the program; Associates is two classes every nine weeks and Bachelors/Masters one class every four to six weeks. The syllabus is easy... Read More
