My experience was great until almost finished when an instructor accused me of using ChatGPT and AI. So I wrote my paper myself and she gave me a grade of 鈥淒鈥� so I asked for it to be removed because she did not want to change grade after I redid the paper. However, with this I will not refer anyone to take classes until UOP change or fire that instructor. I am a teacher with a Master's Degree, and I took a few undergrad courses from UOP to earn an Science Endorsement. I had a really awful experience. The 2 courses I took required group projects, and some of the members in my group did not come through on their part of the assignments. My grade tanked as a result. When I reached out to the instructors and the University admin about it, they replied that there was nothing they could do- it's a group project, therefore everyone gets the group's grade.... Read More I think that's a bunch of crap. I didn't pay $1300 for a class to have my grade plummet because of other students' poor efforts. Also, one of the assignments, the instructor posted in the wrong place. As a result, I didn't see it, and therefore ended up getting a 0 on it and she wouldn't let me make it up. Again, I reached out to admin and nothing was done. Finally, get ready to have your undergrad class assignments graded as much on your proficiency with APA format as your mastery of the content. I didn't mind so much because I know APA well, but I think it's a joke for undergrad courses to be judged on anything more than mastery of the content and adequate grammar skills. I was planning to take several more courses from UOP, but never again. Trust me, take your money elsewhere. I ended up with Bs in these courses, which would be fine except for the fact that I am an A student. It frustrates me to not have my grades reflect my nature, work ethic, and mastery of the content.

I attended the University of Phoenix and obtained a Master's Degree in Adult Education and Training. The school was wonderful and I highly recommend it to others seeking to advance their careers through higher education. There are three main reasons why Phoenix appealed to me. 1. My program was completely online. I live is a somewhat rural area, so the online program gave me access to options that I did not have locally. Most of the classes were fewer than 15 students. I took many classes with the same group of people, so we built relationships that made group projects easier to complete. 3, University of Phoenix allowed me to take one class at a time. This was excellent for me as I worked a full time job and a part time job throughout the program. Being able to focus on one class at a time made the difference for me. The University of Phoenix is a great school. My personal experiences have been positive and I look forward to returning soon for my Doctoral degree.

The University of Phoenix Online is a great option for working adults because it provides flexibility for attending class, great technical support, workshops to enhance writing and math skills and support staff. University of Phoenix is an excellent school. The faculty are easy to talk to and will help students achieve their academic goals. I did not know what to expect when I enrolled. I had never attended school online before. I had great instructors, all of them working in the field. You know there is a lot of negativity out there about online schools that is so unwarranted. It is so easy to place blame and be a victim. I am not saying that not one single student was misled, but sometimes we need to give up the victim role, move on and get the damn degree from whatever college that might be. I never graduated from the "school." After attending classes, one of which did not cover anything it was supposed to, UOP failed to find me a student teaching position. I believe the pro of the graduate program is the high learning and expectation that I am supposed to possess in the classroom. I believe the con is all the extra test that I have to take in order to get my teacher certification, I understands it鈥檚 the State of Texas requirements but I believe other schools allow you waive certain test especially if you have the experience.
