At 59 years old I finally took the leap of faith and went back to school. I first started my BS in Cyber Security & Information Assurance I am not going to lie it was an experience I will never forget I liked it so much that I went back and got my Masters in Informstion Technology Management. I have to say I had an excellent experience from enrolment to the instructors and mentors were all top notch. I also won the capdtone award from someone that hated writing I was excited to win that. I just wish... Read More

I just completed my MBA IT Managment degree from WGU in 14 months through a lot of hard work and support from my program and course mentors. I highly recommend this school for individuals who can work independently while at the same time reaching out to the faculty for any roadblocks that come up. I was impressed with the wealth of knowledge the course mentors have on the various subjects they support. I believe the curriculum has also prepared me for greater roles within the IT industry which I... Read More

WGU is a good University, but you have to be self-motivate to handle this University. If not, you will quit and blame them for everything. I finished my B.A.B.S in 2013 and Master in 2016 in Information Technology Management. My student mentors were great, they are the one you will lean on the most to help you with issue as they arrive. Do not expect WGU to change the way they do something, they put a lot on the student mentor instead of the course mentor where it should be. During your first term... Read More

My degree plan was fantastic. The courses were organized and the requirements were straightforward. The school really provides everything you need to succeed from Cohorts, study sessions, Q&A sessions, and one-on-one sessions. My mentor was great in providing information on how to go about each class and what worked best for other students. The curriculum was challenging and I've found that I'm already using it in real world projects.

I had a great experience at WGU as I completed both my Masters and Bachelors degrees there. The program is a solid program that had relevant material I could immediately use in my job. My student mentor and my course mentors were all very helpful and encouraging when I had issues. The classes were challenging, there was allot of papers to write, but grading was fast and I always felt like I knew where I stood. I would recommend WGU to anyone who is self motivated and self disciplined enough to push... Read More
