This is a great university if you wish to be or are already indoctrinated to such cult ideologies as inherent racism, patriarchy, gender fluidity, toxic masculinity, and violence as an acceptable means of public discourse. If you value feelings over science, subjective assumptions over objective analysis, take pride in being mentally ill/a victim; and abhor values such as: hard work, responsibility, and holding yourself accountable for your actions, this school is for you.

AWFUL! I am pretty sure they are faking reviews, but here's the deal: If you are hardworking and move too fast through their program, they'll make you waste a whole three months where I cannot take any courses because they want me to enroll in one more semester. Nowhere is it written that I must complete my internship over six months - there is a minimum hour requirement, no time frame. They pull excuses from under rocks if they have to and refuse to engage if you have a complaint by politely redirecting... Read More

Please take caution!! I have completed 32 CUs in three months and I am now being intentionally held up by the course mentors. The course mentor refuses to help she makes appointments to call me then I never hear from her. I have reached out to the evaluation department to obtain information about needed revisions and I am told it is against school policy for a student to be told what revisions are needed. I have written 7 previous scholarly papers all of which were given a 4 on the rubric. I find... Read More

The pro's of the gradate program will allow you to work in a workforce and become productive as a student online. The courses are designed for competitive workforce and being productive in your career environment workforce. You will be equipped with the sufficient levels of technology support and directions for using current technology. One con of this program will be you have to pace yourself and set time limits for completing project and task performance.

My graduate program is excellent for what my needs are. The accreditation of the school, the expertise of the faculty, the competence based assessments, and it is online! This program is perfect for a busy professional looking to increase their expertise and education.

Western Governors University is an excellent institution. It allowed me to get my degree online, while still working full time, and do a good job of balancing both work and school. The program challenged me, and the professors were there every step of the way to give as much or as little help as I needed. Furthermore, WGU is affordable and I was able to finish my degree in less than a year!

I have had a great experience so far with Western Governors. Students have a lot of flexibility with help from a mentor and professors. I highly recommend it.

The low scores I gave are because those questions do not apply. You don't go to an online school for social life and the surrounding area. You go to that university because it fits your schedule and time. That's why Western Governors University was the best choice for me, a full-time teacher and 2-sport coach.
