My current struggle: I am in the 4th term out of 5, took a final exam today and did not pass by 3 points. This was due to concentrating on the other class I was also taking because of the horror stories from previous classes. I have an A in the other class with a final on Friday (it is Tuesday) and I am not being allowed to take the final. So I have wasted a month and a half and about $250 on gas because my clinical site is an hour and a half away (in which I never missed a day, was never late, and was the only student to turn in my care plan on the scheduled date) I have to return in 2 months to take both classes over again, which means more money to Concorde and more money out of my pocket to pay for gas to get to clinical sites that I've already been to and done. Not to mention, I'm 6 months pregnant and will be 8 then.
If that does not make up your mind...
Concorde has contracts with clinical sites, Concorde does not care where you live compared to where the clinical sites are located, and the sites in which I have been to are places in which all CNAs run and hide to make the student nurses do all of their work (changing briefs, putting people on and taking people off toilets, feeding, taking vitals. NOT THINGS NURSES DO ALL DAY LONG)

I am only in my fourth month at Fortis and have had multiple horrible experiences. Many instructors do not want to be here, do not teach, and do not help. The director of the program is not fair. They expect you to make up missed holidays on a Friday they choose and only give a short notice. Hands on experience is what matters, and it took me the better part of a year to master fully everything I needed to do as a dental assistant. The College of Education has excellent faculty and plenty of online course options. They have an online degree option. The faculty are involved in research in the local schools and involve grad students in their research projects. The faculty challenge students and are friendly at the same time.
