UMA is a great school especially if you want to attend online. The instructor's are wonderful. My overall experience has been great. I recommend UMA to anyone who's looking for a school that can help them achieve their goals. I'm currently attending.

UMA has given me hope to continue school and further my career where I’m able to still the community. Nursing school took a choke hold on me and failing out at the end I worked a few months and realized I can still help with furthering my career in Health and Human Services.

I would not recommend using SNHU Online to further your studies. As an older individual attending classes, I had a 4.0. That was until one lecturer accused me of utilizing artificial intelligence. My work was "too well-written", which in her mind was a criminal offense. I'm in my forties and can write quite well. She did not even read the paper I produced, which took me three days to complete after extensive editing and revising. My paper was identical to the work I had submitted throughout the semester.... My time with Excelsior was short due to having transferred in many credits from my military experience. The school was very good about awarding credits towards my degree based on that. So, in short, obtaining my AAS in Technical Studies with an emphasis in Electronics and Instrumentation was very easy. I am no rocket scientist, but I was able to get a 4.0 in all of my classes without very much of a struggle at all. The only negative comment that I would give is that I didn't feel that the instructors... Read More

Let me first say, If you have the money and/or the opportunity to attend a regionally accredited school, you should. ASHWORTH COLLEGE IS A REAL ACCREDITED SCHOOL, however, the quality of education you receive is not the greatest. I maxed out on my student loans at the Art Institute and was not able to complete my degree there. That's when I decided to try Ashworth. Without this school, I don't think I would have been able to afford to finish a degree. So, if you're simply looking for an affordable... Read More

Every since the day I signed up at UMA, my life has been wonderful. I still hold a GPA average of a 4.0 since i started back in August 2015. UMA have been the only school to help me in everything since day one and they are always calling to check in to make sure everything is okay. This school, so far has been the best school I have ever attended. All the staff and instructors are so nice and always there for you. This school was the best school I had ever attended! The staff was helpful in finding any information needed for you. Not only that, the student advisors were so into you and your well being, that they would call you to check on you and also had a listening ear for when you needed someone to talk to. They are very helpful!!! I LOVE THIS SCHOOL and looking forward to attending one of their SISTER schools to go further into my education!!!

UMA was a great fit for me. Their online program allowed me to accomplish my goals. The student service person assigned to me kept me motivated and encouraged. The student services helped me to feel strong about my abilities to start my new career. The whole experience for me was great. I wish I could've have gotten my Bachelors with UMA, but they didn't have a program available in my chosen career field. Alas I had to obtain it at another school.

While I attended this college, I enjoyed my professors and classes, but I had issues with administration. The professors were amazing and always willing to help. The administration was difficult to deal with. There were long waits to meet with advisers and financial aid staff. Once in with an administrator, they had an attitude. Also, when I chose my degree path, I was on track to finish it until they switched the required courses & didn't inform the students. Once I found out, they made excuses... Read More

From the very beginning I have had an amazing amount of trouble with this school. They are almost impossible to get on the phone you just leave messages with people who never get back to you. When I was trying to enroll I wanted to do the Accounting program but the admission lady I spoke with convinced me that it was a horrible program and I should just do Office Management. When I told her no she assured me that I could change my program later if I was still sure.
From there it became a nightmare... Read More
In the middle of the year I asked to be reduced to one class for the term because I was working full time and my company is very busy during the summer. It took me 3 weeks to talk to someone about my courses. I sent numerous emails and made at least 2 calls a day only to find out my student adviser had quit shortly after I was enrolled. Instead of reducing my course load they increased it and then suspended me because I could not keep up. They still charged me for the classes that I had only been in for 2 weeks even though I didn't sign up for them.
I completely gave up on Virgina College and tried to get my transcripts but I could not reach anybody. I left messages and sent emails but the only call I got back was from a collection agency telling me I owed over $2000 to the school on top of what I owe for my student loans.
Now I can't go to any school because Virginia College swindled me. They are nothing but a bunch of cons from Alabama.

I only have 3 classes left before I graduate, 4 if you can't the class I'm almost done with currently. There are a couple teachers that aren't very engaging like the one I have currently. For the most part though, what you put in is what you get out. If you think that you are gonna pay the school and they magically snap their fingers and you are a master tech, not really how it goes. I try hard and have a 4.0 currently, most of the people that don't know what's going on and/or are getting crummy... Read More

Despite facing a life-altering disease in my first semester, my experience in the radiography program at RRCC was excellent. Life is cool. Until they make on campus living mandatory for first years. No big deal you might think. That is until you get hit with the fees. It’s a private institution so they’re gonna get their dollar out of you no matter how they do it. You lock yourself out of your dorm? $35. Be in the same area as a incident and suddenly you’re in the student conduct meeting with them. Please lord do not get me started on parking tickets. Lakeland community college is an excellent way to get a cheaper associates degree, certification, or a way to get your general education classes out of the way before going to a bigger university. I loved the teachers there, save one or two, and I felt like the instructors really cared about the students. My only complaint is that if they do not have your degree program they label you as 'Undecided' which garners a lot of questions from counselors as well as other colleges.

PTA program was organized, well maintained and thorough. I felt prepared to begin my PTA career and I was properly prepared to take/pass my state boards after graduation. The lab portions and hands on experience was excellent. I enjoyed my internships and I had a job offer the last day of my internship which made the transition from college to career easy. Campus life at Central Penn was sad...there were way too many rules and it didn't feel like a traditional college. I felt that I gained an excellent... Read More
