My husband attended this college, we spent over $30,000 in tuition. He graduated top of his class, Suma Cum Lada, was chosen to be a "school ambassador" and STILL cannot find a job. The job placement program is a total joke. All they do is give you a resume template and send you the same tired job leads over and over. My experience at the school was ok, I was a top student, graduated with honors, had perfect attendance; unfortunatly seems that all this hard work doesnt count much. I felt that the overall experience of Herzing University Online was amazing. The instructors were always helpful. Great school with amazing resources. Any time I needed further assistance it was always available. Fellow students were respectful of others opinions. I did have times of frustration, and there was always someone to get me through.

I take online courses as it best fits my schedule since I work full time. The professors and my adviser are easy to contact and communicate with. They have guided my thus far in choosing which classes to take each semester and will further explain questions from classes as they arise.

Overall my experience with Georgetown University has been a well supported one, academically and personally. Although I am involved in a hybrid program, that provides students with online and in class courses, I still have had a great experience on and off campus. GW has an exemplary online public health graduate program allowing students like myself to fit schooling seamlessly into our hectic lives, no matter where in the world we call home. The professors make time to provide students with assistance whenever possible and serve as an incredible knowledge base from which to learn.

The pros of the program are that I can do my classes from the convenience of my home, I can still have an in-classroom experience, and I meet people from all over the world. The cons of the program would be that the part time program consists of a full-time workload and it is very expensive with little financial aid opportunities.
