This school made it easy to work full time and go to school full time which is great. I have a few issue just like anyone would have about a school. I was about two classes away from getting my bachelor's when I got a call stating that can not continue until I pay out of pocket because my loan and grants have ran out, I was really disappointed. they didn't tell me earlier I wish they told me at least six month earlier so I can make payments for that class. every time I call or get a call it seems... I reviewed many schools for an online Accounting option and Linfield College was the best fit for me. When I was exploring Linfield, I was contacted by a couple of people from the Adult Degree Program. They pointed out the positive aspects of the program and how I could tie in remotely and still feel part of the college. I felt like the Accounting curriculum was very challenging and has prepared me for a future career as a Certified Public Accountant. One additional bonus of the program was the mentoring... I was a student for just over 4 years at UOP and I can tell you that this school is not the evil empire those make it out to be. Yes, it is expensive, but I could not afford the time to be able to go to a traditional college. Further, many technologies that UOP was using prior to the State Universities like with Math and Reading, also the Onlie Library is second to none, my wife uses my access because her State University's is horrible. Over a four year period I had several issues, but you will always... Read More

If the college did not have support from financial aids, the student loan program and federal funding they would not survive. Advisors who lie or do not do their job, and then blame the students. I have filed a formal complain with the State of Arizona. Poor choice of classes available in the on-line program. More variety in community colleges.

Located in Norfolk, VA, the school is located in a safe and growing metroplis with much to offer. I excelled scholastically at the university largely due to the responsive faculty, in particular my advisors, who were extremely impactful throughout my academic tenure. Outside of class, the growing athletic department offers football and basketball games to attend - a fun way to meet and interact with peers! All in all, I found... Read More
