I took most of my classes online, but also took a few at two of the campuses in Alaska. Every experience was good, from the administrative staff to the professors. I learned a lot and it was all relatively easy and painless.

My overall experience at USU was fantastic! But, with that said I have a few MAJOR problems... the first, and biggest problem I have with the USU Accounting program is their upper division Accounting classes are taught by a man named Rhett Hunt. He's a CPA, and he really understands accounting... only he cannot teach the subject! He's hands down the worst undergraduate professor I had! So, why does USU keep him? I think it's because they are too cheap to hire a Ph.d. that can actually teach the subject..... Read More

It is a great school, but has too many problems for me to actually recommend anyone attend unless they offer you a full ride. In my four years, I've had three different Presidents of the school and two different Deans of my College. The administrative staff never can give you a straight answer. They will send you all over campus just end up back to them and then they might give you the answer you're looking for. Most times they are not even in their offices when they schedule says they're suppose... Read More
