Student Reviews of Online Business Programs
I am pursuing my degree outside f the United States and I am currently 1 year into my education. Ive seen a lot of negative reviews here regarding financial aid. While I cannot touch that topic because I am paying for my education out of pocket (and I live/am from outside of the U.S.), I will leave my review on other aspects. I am 27 years old with a mortgage/family/ demanding job so going to a local on campus school would not have worked out for me. While I am paying for my classes myself, I hope... Read More

The FlexPath program is perfect for my schedule as I work full time and prefer to learn online rather than physically in a classroom. The only complaint I have is the communication with financial aid and counselors. My personal counselor was always either "on vacation" or never responded to my emails. If I needed anything I would have to call Capella University and they would transfer me to another counselor to help me, usually having to wait on hold for long periods of time while being transferred... I would not recommend this school to anyone. I do not know if this is even legit. Their websit is not current, as far as testimonials / graduation success / graduation ceremony dates for current year, scholarship availability. The most annoying part of dealing with this school has to be their rude / ghetto/ unprofessional staff who answer their phones day in and day out. Don't ever try to get study assistance, as they do not assist you in anyway, I was once told when enquiring about something I was... Read More

I have had a good INDEPENDENT experience. What I mean by that is. Student advisers aren't genuine, so understand you are on your own. The material is good I have learned a lot and although I have not finished yet, I do have employers willing to work with me until I graduate. The courses are useful and gratefully there are many resources to help you succeed. It is true they are only helpful in the beginning. Some of the professors don't answer emails and will not give you feedback so you are pretty... Read More

I have recently graduated with a bachelor's from CSU Global. Overall, it was a good learning experience that prepared me for a promotion at work. Taking classes here is not for those who cannot manage their time. You have to put in the work, every day. I have fallen behind a couple times, and it can be difficult to catch up. The professors are for the most part helpful, though I have had a couple who seem to be running on autopilot. Grading can vary, some are strict while others are not, similar... Read More

Worse school for Financial aid services. first time at this school started April 2nd. I'm in the last week of school and still having to send over documents for financial aid. This is a like a scam, I have never attended a school where they want you to change your taxes from 2015. Mind you I attended a local college in 2016-2017 and completed the program with financial aid with no problem. Came to this school and it has been one thing after another with financial aid. And my taxes were done by a... Read More

As military this school is a fast and relatively affordable way to complete your education. I was impressed with the level of communication between teachers and students. The financial aid department is extremely helpful and your advisor is very interactive.

There are many mixed reviews about this college. I have been attending this college for a couple of years. I will graduate in one month with a bachelors in organizational management, and will continue my education at Ashford University. In my opinion this college is for professionals and people who get things done on their own. If you are not one of those people, and you constantly need support this college is probably not for you. Financial aid and advise for career questions is something you may... Read More

I started the Vet Tech program with Penn Foster a couple of years ago and didn't make it very far. Mostly because I was working and not motivated. When I decided it was time for me to go back to school, I came back to Penn Foster. I'm now enrolled in the bachelors business management degree. Why did I choose to come back to Penn Foster? It meets my personal needs. Penn Foster is nationally accredited, unlike your local community college or your state university which are most likely regionally accredited.... Read More

I have learned a lot of information and made some great connections with instructors that have provided me with the tools that I needed to continue my career. Obtaining my degree has allowed me to experience my career at another, satisfying level. When I first started with the University of Phoenix, I started attending at a campus, but due to life circumstances I had to withdraw. Upon returning I was conflicted about whether or not should attend a campus or online, and I decided to try the online... Read More

The University of Texas at Austin, specifically the McCombs School of Business are both amazing. Austin is a great city to spend 4 years in and I loved that the campus was right in the heart of so much fun. The University of Texas has so many opportunities to find your place that it can be overwhelming at first, but once you find your solid groups it makes college better. I recommend taking the time to find clubs and groups that fit for you- do not force it but instead keep looking. While I made... Read More

Ok well everyone who continues to say UOP is not an accredited school needs to do research. Secondly I love the school. They are great people and when I had a slip up for about 3 classes they took care of me. No issues . I would recommend this school to anyone . This is college. Not daycare. If you want someone to baby you, then go to a school that will.

I enjoyed the University of Phoenix program and am continuing my education to my masters through the University of Phoenix as well because it gives me the opportunity and flexibility to obtain my degree. The programs are based upon what a student needs to know to become successful in the real life setting. I felt supported while attending this school from my enrollment officer to my financial officer. I never felt alone on my journey to obtain my degree.

I enrolled in this online state college after completing my associates degree at a local community college where I did about 2/3 online and 1/3 on campus. I needed to be able to take my courses exclusively online because of my children's activities. The courses were all about the same. Submit 5-10 posts to an online discussion board each week, respond to at least 5-10 of your classmates posts each week, take a small quiz each week, work on 2-4 group projects, write a major paper throughout the entire... Working with the groups provides a forum that mirrors a work environment. I find it interesting that some reviews comment that some students don't participate and they have to pick up the slack. This should be a learning experience as a leader. It is apparent that these individuals are not leaders and prefer to blame others. I worked very hard and believe the experience has changed my life for the better.

Good school if you want to get a lot of experience quick. I had to put in work every 8 weeks and hustle. The advisors were always nice and available. They always explained what was going on. Professors have great work experience that bring a lot to the lectures rather than just book smart on a topic.

Blinn College is a really great school with excellent professors. Attending this school makes transferring to a four year university easier because this college prepares you better than most schools. The Bryan campus has a lot of professors that also teach at Texas A&M. This level of education is pretty unique for a junior college. The online courses they offer are very nice as well. The online professors put so much effort to make their students succeed.

Middle Georgia State University has a big program for Business and nursing degrees. The tuition is very cheap , and you get lots of opportunities in the classroom and outside of the classroom. There are lots of great teachers that will help you in anyway that they can. One of the biggest things that i really enjoy about this school is that there are never any classes on Friday, so you will anyways have a three day weekend.
