Student Reviews of Online Business Programs
AVOID!!!! I recently had a major issue with the school and up until that point I was really pleased with them. I wanted two switch majors and made a call to them two months ago, in those two months I followed every thing I was advised to do to the T, then I make a call to get the ball rolling only to find out almost everything he advised me was incorrect to the point where I am out $772. That's a lot of money for me.... A LOT>. After more then two and a half hours on the phone with numerous people... Read More

Marian University is a great college for that "want to earn a degree on my time" individual. You can take classes online, on campus or both. The AGS program for Business Administration and Management was a perfect fit for me to finish my Bachelor's degree and still be able to work a fulltime job. The staff and instructors always make time to give additional assistance when needed.

I enjoyed my time at Wilmington! I feel that it was a great education at a very affordable price. I appreciated that the staff was always willing to help me and assist me when I needed them. The teachers were wonderful! I felt that I was attended to and assisted where and however I needed it. The online experience was thorough and the curriculum was excellent! Because it is online, it is accessible to anyone, anywhere , at any time. I have a very hectic work schedule so this was paramount to me and... Read More

The professors are fantastic ! I have no complaints at will when it comes to the faculty and courses being offered. However, the business offices are incredibly dysfunctional. For a school that teaches business classes it's a constant disappointment when dealing with anyone at that school regarding your account, or trying to schedule class. Calls are never returned and emails go unanswered. The finance and Student Accounts are in constant chaos. You must monitor your account constantly for accuracy... Read More

I have been attending Ashford University for a year now and it has been a pleasure working from my academic advisor, financial aid department, all my instructors, and classmates. If you communicate to them early enough, they will be flexible with your assignments or any other needs. They have a mentorship program that is awesome. My mentor reaches out to me once a week which shows the effort they put into their students. No complaints here. Thank you for everything Ashford.

I graduated a couple months ago (Feb. 2017). and I have not had the negative experiences others say they had. I came in with an associate's degree and attended 3 other colleges prior to finishing up at CTU. Pros: I thought their online format and website/navigation was the best I have ever used. A+. I attended Portland State Online, and trying to navigate their "Blackboard" took me 30+ minutes every time I logged in. CTU definitely has the online experience down. I also paid out-of-pocket, but I'll... Read More

Amazing school. The faculty's purpose is to help you grow at all times. The courses are insightful and based on real world knowledge needed. The test are hard but related to the material. In each test you basically have to know everything about the material. But with room for some mistakes. If you read all material and follow the steps given to you. You can pass. Is done at your time and it becomes a routine. I graduated and i feel like i want to study every night, because i got so used to it. Learning... Read More

I truly loved this University. I earned my Associates in 2015 in Business Management with Retail sales. My Bachelors in Business Administration in 2017, and they gave me half off my tuition to earn my MBA (i will graduate in 2019). I attended the 2017 graduation in Salt Lake, and I loved it. It was in an old theater. They gave us food and drinks. I felt very special. They had music and I just thought it was a great ceremony. As for the teachers and staff, they are so helpful, and encouraged me to... Read More

They are amazing working with the military. They have clear expectations and are willing to accept CLEP as well as DSST examinations which is a huge help time-wise and financially. They were very clear with communication and that has not stopped as I have progressed into a masters program. I have read several reviews that criticize the college. One such review stated it was just a way to get a rubber stamp degree. Others stated that you had to already know the information and just need a refresher. However, I must disagree with reviews similar to these. I held an AAS degree in Early Childhood Education when I started WGU. I have worked in the Social Service field for the past 20 years. I obtained a BS in business/human resources. I really knew nothing in regards to the business classes.... Read More

This school is not just a school. The staff makes you feel important and that they really care about your progress. Counselors will reach out to you often to check in, but if you have any question at all, you can call or email and someone will get back to you if not that day, by the following business day. The online courses are not as hard to learn as it may sound. Reading material, explaining your understandings, and relating to your current or previous experience is how you will learn. The instructors... Read More

I was a little skeptical about SNHU (and online education in general) when I first decided to go back and finish my bachelor's degree in late 2013. I have attended both a traditional brick and mortar state university as well as an exclusively online experience at SNHU, so I have a decent amount of experience in both settings. Overall, I have been fairly happy with my experience while attending SNHU when I compare it with my experience at a state university. First of all, you have to be comfortable... Read More

Very happy with the school and great for my career. Most of the lower reviews are whiners that think a university should hold your hand. This is not one of those schools. Figure it out, get it done, and move on. All the resources are there and YOU have to figure it out. It is not for everyone, but if you are busy, self-motivated, and independent you will do fine. I can't speak for other degrees, but I learned a ton while taking the Business Mang. program. I learned a ton, because I applied myself... Read More

I retired from the Navy and have been in my second career for 16 years. I am very trainable, well trained and educated. I have been with UoP for two and half years, with two classes remaining for my BS/Business Management degree. I have had nothing but great experiences since I started. I have been challenged in every class, it is far from being easy. To be honest I think there was more expected from me then a traditional college. The faculty is awesome. SNHU's online program lets you make up and finish a degree you started elsewhere fast. I would not recommend it as a four year program. The courses are all pre-fab and the faculty are all part-timers who do this on the side. They hardly know whats going on themselves. Its very much a mill and most instructors will pass you for the basic level work. There are some good courses, but its really a money making engine that tries to look legit. I hate to criticize because SNHU did help my finish my degree... Read More

After haphazardly running across this page, I felt compelled to write a comment. I was enrolled in another college pursuing a Multidisciplinary Studies degree. Yea, right, what is that. I had earned 100 credits and all I needed was 20 more credits to graduate but I was not satisfied with the degree. A friend of mine recommended Post University. I started Post University online in 2008 while serving in the military. I chose business administration with a marketing concentration. I lost 40 credits... Read More
