The PROS of this program are identical to the same as every other online BA program...identical. The added bonus is the savings. In my case, it was about a 60% savings over my second choice (Adams Online University, CO). They have a much, much higher graduation rate than PHX or CTU Online. You will graduate (they have a very high graduation rate) and you will get the job. If you want to move forward in your career and actually obtain an education than this is a great option. CONS: I had no luck working through an error (my bad) when I requested that my records be transferred until I threatened to leave the school. It was a problem time I tried to register and I was blocked from taking more classes until I got hold of a full-time staff there, rather than a student-staffer. They got it resolved in 1 day. I actually broke down and cried...then canceled my transfer to PHX. ..........So..........The balance of staff have been easy and helpful. I would recommend you Google the names of your professors when you are looking to register; some of them are more rigid than others. Some are more fun! The teachers post their phone numbers. If you google their names you'll find that they typically teach at multiple traditional and online colleges. What made me giggle is that the tests are all the same, for all the online colleges! If you Google a quiz question it will pop up under 5 universities....so save your money and go to APU/AMU. If you want a degree you will get one. No one cares about the name on the sweatshirt, not anymore. Online is the way of the future for working professionals.

I am currently attending AMU (a sub-school of APUS for the Military). I have had both good and bad experiences with the instructors. Like any college, you will have the good ones, the bad ones, and the great ones. I haven't really had any great instructors but I would say that through 80+ credit hours at this school I have only had two bad instructors. Price, it's a little on the steep side at $250 an hour plus a technology fee, if you have financial aid, it's workable. If you are a self starter and like fast paced classes, this school is a great choice. If you need constant teacher-student interaction, avoid this school, you will not be successful. This school follows a week by week curriculum so it's not really a self paced school because of deadlines. However, if you can spare 2-3 nights a week, you can be a full time student at APUS. I recommend them to self-motivated people who want to complete their degree. If you are not passionate, like any school, you won't make it.

The courses are ridiculously hard due in part that the content does not make any damn sense. From every logical reasoning level. What you think could never be the answer actually is. If you fail something you really are not properly informed you will sit wondering why your cousre did not change when it was something in the wings you did not know you have to repeat. They send you to collections in a heartbeat and exaggerate the prices if you open one course and is unfinished you owe for the whole... If you chose a degree program then change your mind you must pay $50.00 and worst if you want to change from a bachelors to an associates that is not allowed and they don't advise you up front. It is exciting to go ahead though on your own time and do the classwork from anywhere. I really like the school except for those areas of opportunities i mentioned. If they fix that it would be phenominal. I have a couple classes left and several law schools accept the degree.

University of Phoenix's online programs are extremely rigorous and require a great amount of time management. Almost every day, I would need to complete some kind of assignment. My academic advisor was fantastic! He called at the beginning and end of each class just to make sure everything was going well. He was also available for me to call if issues happened to arise. He made me feel comfortable enough to speak my mind when I had an issue with a classmate and offered excellent advice on how to... Read More resolve the issue. I will say I went through 4 financial advisors in the less than 2 years I attended. It got a bit messy when I was almost finished with my degree and then I realized that none of them spoke to each other and they attempted to get me to pay over $1000 out of pocket, when in reality they owed me. It got resolved but it was a great amount of unnecessary stress as I was about to finish my degree. Overall, I would recommend this program to someone looking for a challenge and a well-rounded education.

The University of Milwaukee - Milwaukee is the perfect university if you are looking for a beautiful campus set just outside downtown, a diverse student body, and a wide variety of on and off-campus activities. I received fantastic support from my advisors and incredibly valuable instruction from all of my professors. Additionally, the International Studies office made my semester abroad happen as seamlessly as possible. I will be very sad to leave UW-Milwaukee at the end of the year but am positive... While I was SUNY I had a wonderful time. Even though the campus is very large and a lot of students attend there are many opportunities for a small college feel with some classes have about 30 students. In my classes that were 100 students+ I still got to know my professors very well. My classes were challenging but I would see the practicality in everything that I was learning as well as being able to apply it in my everyday life. The Career Advisement at UAlbany was also very helpful there was always events to help future us for after we graduated, we had seminars for resume and cover letter writing. I got my first job out of college from a job I applied to at job fair that the school held. The school also had a very diverse population you would meet people from all over the world and there was a club for every time type of person. We had club plenty of clubs for LGBT youth, Habitat for Humanities, Honor Societies, etc. I would recommend anyone to go to UAlbany for any degrees that would want to pursue.

Drury University was ranked #11 in Us News and World Reports among Midwest regional colleges for the 2017 year. My own experience at Drury told me why. The faculty at Drury are extremely knowledgeable, understanding and available to students not only during the course of study, but in years to follow. My experiences in seated classes were very enriching and engaging and online/blended classes were full of alternate resources and suggested supplementary materials to enhance learning.
