DO NOT ENROLL IN THE ONLINE PROGRAM!!! Advising is beyond appalling. GWSPH has vastly overenrolled since 2020 and can't deliver what they advertise online. Impossible to finish in one year, very challenging to finish in two. Not enough spots in required classes. Glorified independent study at best. The recorded lectures from GW faculty are fantastic. Read More unprofessional to several students in my section). But they have vastly overenrolled during the pandemic and cannot handle the number of students they already have. Academic, practicum and master's thesis (CE) advisers do not return emails or process required paperwork for days or weeks (sometimes not at all), have no available appointments for weeks or months, most do not know the program well enough to competently advise students, and they have had a very high turnover in the last year. So many people I know have tales of being ghosted by their advisers. I got into another great MPH school but chose GW in the end because I wanted to work in DC and thought the practicum and connections from GW would be valuable for my career. Huge mistake. Everyone is on their own finding a practicum, and the only suggestions they give you are for full-time, usually unpaid, jobs. I did end up getting a great job after graduation, but not because of anything GW did for me other than putting their brand on my diploma. That is what you are paying for in the end, but in my opinion, that won't be worth much if they keep running the online program the way they have been for the last 2 years. Incredibly frustrated and disappointed. I'm in my last term and can't wait to be done with this whole experience. I ended up with a 4.0, but I did not get the experience I thought I was paying for. GW needs to stop enrolling so many students to make money, hire more competent advisers, and start actually delivering on the promises they advertise all over the internet.

I transferred in general courses from a community college and received my B.S. in Alt. Med. with EU. Then they talked me into pursuing my Master's in Public Health Admin. I really had no complaints about EU until recently and I've been with them since 2014. As soon as I joined the military, my needs changed as did my relationship with the school. I was now in need of a VA Rep. which the school does not offer despite claiming to be military friendly. I don't understand how a school can accept government... Read More funds yet have no rep. to assist their military/veteran students in getting these funds applied. In addition, I was cut orders twice (once for training and the 2nd time for deployment) and both times I was forced to withdraw from the school as my leave would exceed their leave of absence time frame. What school doesn't allow active military students to put their degree on hold for a deployment?!!!! I've never even heard of that! I had to pay a 2nd application fee to come back to the school after the first set of orders ended and then they wanted me to do it a 3rd time after my deployment. To top it off, while deployed, I received weekly phone calls from the school asking if I'd like to return to school to finish my degree because I'm merely just a wallet in their eyes and they couldn't be bothered to take notes on my situation to avoid looking stupid after forcing me to leave then asking when I'm coming back. They even sent a generic email to my SCHOOL email advertising the schools programs as if I was just some prospective student that had never attended. I'm now $90k in the hole for a B.S. that I'm not using and a partial Master's in Public Health Admin. that is not CEPH accredited (just found that out). A CEPH accreditation is not mandatory but, you may find yourself struggling to get a job post graduation without it. I'm so frustrated with the school in every way and now I'm going through the transfer process like someone after a bad relationship skeptical of literally every other online MPH program I come across.

This dergrer program is extremely difficult to the point of unfair. I feel like the grading system is aimed to nit pick rather than actually assess the students work. For instance, why havea a due date but mandate an assignment be submitted way before hand or get points taken off; that blows my mind still and Im on my 3rd class. Im at the point of considerating to cut my losses and start from scratch at another school. Though Im still grappling with the fact that an 85 and 90 in my last two classes... Read More have justified to put me on Academic warning. Not sure if thats just a grad school thing or specifically Chamberlain.

Everyone has good and bad experiences, that being said my time at Purdue Global has been a positive one. The only negative I guess I have to say, which has been mentioned by others here is the fact of the one time a week seminar that lasts only an hour. It does seem almost too short to get the information, and when people are asking a million questions during instruction, it makes the end of the seminar rushed to meet the time deadline. I have been fortunate to have instructors stay past the time... Read More and continue on instruction for those who want to stay. I just received my Bachelors of science in health science through them and it was great. I transferred credits too and had no issues with that. When it came time to pursue my Masters, I decided to stay with them and I am currently taking classes for MPH. I have never had an issue with advisement or financial aid as well. So overall I am happy with my decision to go here and continue my education with them.

Attended for 7 years straight from my mid twenties into my thirties. As a busy parent, business owner,and part time case worker the steady school schedule was perfect. My weeks over the past several years were easy to follow. The instruction quality was stellar overall. I noticed that many of my professors were not simply instructors in my latter years with Snhu (PhDs). Most if not all, had a presence or worked full time in the fields of their instructor. Let me give you an example, my final term... Read More professor possessed an Undergrad from Cornell, additional degrees from Northeastern, and John Hopkins School of Medicine. I've had no less than a dozen Ivy and tier 1 grad instructors and professors. This should give you some sense of the clout and attractiveness of the school to their professors. I found most classes to have varying degrees of challenge, that being said, in all honesty, I didn't need to purchase most books and found that maintaining my B average was easy enough with online research or using their very helpful Shapiro Library online. I effectively attended two classes per term, two to 3 days of work per week, with an additional day periodically in order to complete 30- 40 page papers. I loved this school, and I'm working on my final degree with them now. Out of graduation, I secured a position just shy of 3 figures, but with additional streams of revenue... Fill in the blank. Make this decision!!

Having looked for Universities that would allow me the opportunity to work, care, provide, and help me further my education at a graduate level, seemed almost impossible to me. Luckily, I found Everglades University Online. There was nothing short of an onsite campus experience, I had excellent instructors, excellent academic support, and I was involved in workshops that gave me leadership skills, I met new classmates, and felt as involved as I would have been in an onsite campus. the greatest opportunity... I am now a graduate with a Masters Degree and so proud of my accomplishments and promotion that came with earning this degree. Thank you, Everglades University.

I am greatly enjoying my time at Capella University. Everyone has been incredibly helpful from my admissions counselor to my professors and teacher's assistants. I was nervous about taking classes purely online but Capella has made the experience smooth and easy. There are videos showing exactly how to access classroom material, teacher assistants willing to help you with anything from writing papers to software problems.
