I've had a disappointing experience with Maryville University's nursing school. It feels like the focus is more on financial gain rather than providing the necessary support and resources for students. Maryville is currently holding my transcripts hostage over an error on their part of not getting my student financial aid paperwork filed in time. I was never notified I was not receiving financial aid until I had a large debt with Maryville and was then expected to pay out of pocket. They are unwilling to work with you and are simply out for the dollar. They pay PhD professors adjunct wages with zero benefits while we pay university tuition prices.

This school is a complete joke. You will basically teach yourself because the instructors rely on Powerpoints and that is the material they consistently teach from. Also, many of the instructors are on a power trip and have major attitudes with their students. This school is a waste of money. Go to WASH U or SLU because you will spend just as much money and receive a better education.

Being able to attend school online and not having to lose time for work is great. there is alot of flexibility especially with a family. All students are provided with great support and resources throughout the program.

Great program! I am able to handle full time classes online while juggling work and family life. I enjoy having access to research through my university's online library resources.
