I have enjoyed this program, and disagree with the negative reviews from my personal perspective. Any online program requires self-study. You get what you give, and I have not met a professor yet that would not bend over backward to help me out. I am enrolled in my next to last semester and feel as though I am prepared. I have spoken with other NPs in my cohort that obtained their degree at local brand-named universities and feel their curriculum mirrors the one at Maryville. The tuition is reasonable.... Read More I have Zoom meetings with professors at least three times a semester, and I have not been avoided when I need their assistance. They are always readily available. As with any online program, it will not be handed to you, and you must put in the work, sometimes extra work to be successful. I encourage students that have had a positive experience to reflect on a review here.

The online instructors dont actually teach anything. They all use the same poor lectures that were recorded years ago yet yoU are paying top dollars for this program. If you want to be prepared for an Acute care Np this is not the program for you. The instructors and lead instruction Nina Zimmermann have no acute care background and all the classes are focused on the FNP word. Terrible program and I wish I would have went someplace else or transferred. Also tou have to find all your own clinical... Read More instructors and the school advisors are useless at helping. Last semester they forgot to send my paper work to my clinical site.
