Degree: Non-Profit Management

I am a mother of four and work full-time. Ashford's structure for my Master's allowed me to complete the program in a reasonable time and still have time for my family. I worked and studied hard throughout, and maintained a 4.0. It meant a lot of late nights and working on the weekends, but it was manageable. My academic advisor and professors were easily accessible. I used student loans, as my company did not offer direct reimbursement to the university. Financial aid was very smooth and I had no... My experience has been absolutely wonderful. You get what you put in. For someone who is in their sixties, I have nothing but good things to share. You have to be dedicated and put in the time. He said many of the job applicants just had... Read More

I truly enjoyed my classes. I obtained my MBA from a University where I attended campus classes. In comparison, I worked harder (checked in daily, reading posts, writing responses, writing papers, etc.) with my online classes than when I attended my campus classes. One thing that stood out to me was how many classmates were in the military. I found myself reading and responding to their posts because I wanted to, not because I was required to. The demand on my time was intense, but that's exactly... Read More

Degree: Non-Profit Management

I obtained both BA in Organizational Management & Accounting and MA in Organizational Management. Throughout the years of study my academic advisor, financial advisor and instructors were informative as well as assisted in keeping me on track. However, often times we encounter individuals who are not good fit to our personalities and/or needs. There was a few times one of the staff members was not a fit in handling my situation. The result of the matter was immediately rectified either reassigning... Read More
