The program itself isn't that bad, but it is a shame that they offer it to so many people and with some many other schools in the area. The Pittsburgh and surrounding area is so saturated with AT's that when you graduate the list of jobs they give you doesn't include AT jobs in the area because there aren't any. The few that are out there are swallowed up by people with connections or years of experience.

I really like my graduate program! I have learned so much from my professors and I feel that I have a competitive advantage due to my professors practicing therapy in the field and relating their experiences to the classroom. I rated the graduate program mostly with pros because University of Phoenix maintains a level of excellence and support for their students. Not Quality Education, Graduated 2017

Attended: Liberty University

Waste of money and time. Many of the professors do not appear to have actual experience in the subject they are teaching. In several classes I felt like I was teaching the instructor, or fellow classmates. There is a disconnect between the different departments you have to interact with. Some people are fantastic, but others are not. They have a tough policy when it comes to dropping a course. Once you complete that first check-in assignment, you are out of viable options. Pros - It's 100% online! This is my first-time experience with online graduate level courses and it has been great. There are student's from all over the country that are experienced and that you can learn from as well as the professors! Cons- Some of the weekly discussion posts do get repetitive quickly but other than that there are none.

The online program at BU has a lot of advantages but I have to admit that it needs some improvement. I am currently in the Graduate Family Nurse Practitioner program. The instructors are readily available to assist and answer questions when needed and provide overall great classes. The only con is some of the classes for the graduate program are very similar to the Bachelor program. I would rather have classes geared toward prepping for Nurse Practitioner such as skills to prep for Clinical (ie. lab results, mixing patho with actual meaning and how to treat, etc.).

All but six of Montana's colleges and universities are public schools offering lower tuition rates to in-state residents.
