Attended: Liberty University

Initially, the school was amazing when I started in 2020. I felt really supported, engaged, and learn a lot. Upon completion of that degree, I decided to pursue my MBA. The first few semesters were great. About a few months into the program, I started having problems with professors. Many times, they would not help, only deduct points for vague things such as formatting or spelling errors, which in both cases was not true. It continuously got worse to the point that almost every class I was fighting... Read More

So far UMGC is sub par in almost every instance of pedagogy, as compared to friends and peers in MBA programs. Additionally, advisors are embarrassingly unhelpful, and seemingly condescending. Save you money/time and find another school that is interested in developing professionals. It’s been a complete disappointment.

The bad reviews from some people here are very funny. People do whatever they can to diminish the prestige of one institution. University of phoenix is a good university. They do not accept any transcripts as someone has said it. Only from academic institutions that have been well reviewed and have been accredited by the different regional academic foundations. Essentially the program is in an independent study format. Each class has webpage for homework submissions quiz/test taking. There are no lectures (typical content consists of PowerPoint presentations taken from the "extra content" of the reading materials) or interaction with your instructor other than by email. For someone who's used to a traditional setting, this format is really tough. The use of pre-recorded video lectures would be very helpful in bridging the gap from a traditional classroom... Jimmie L. Brown, Graduated 2016

Attended: University of Phoenix

I'm currently enrolled into the MBA program working diligently on conquering my educational goal while working full time. I believe that anything worth having is worth working hard for and even harder to maintain. My education has always been a strong priority in my life but it has only been within the past 5 years that I have been able to afford to move the needle on my educational goals. This scholarship would be of tremendous help to me and it will not be one that I would squander. Thank you for... Read More

A great online school for those who are self-motivated and are very independent. A lot of independent study and papers that worked well for me. You get a mentor for each class. He or she grades everything and they are there to provide support when you have any questions. Faculty and staff are very responsive and very helpful. Courses and textbooks are very relevant to your job--as long as you study the textbooks. Proud to have my MBA with them and the two year journey was very rewarding.

I need a financial boost, but I didn't apply for any scholarships. I just work full-time as a CNA. I have always worked while attending college. I obtained my Bachelors of Arts in Sociology in 2011, but I just haven't gain a professional level position, yet. I will hopefully after the completion of this MBA online program. I am focused and ready to get my education on! You have to plan financially, physically, and mentally or it will be a terrible waste of time, money, and energy.

Keiser University was the perfect choice for me because of the accelerated program and online classes. My admissions counselor was so helpful in advising which path to choose given my needs. Keiser allowed me to be a parent, work full time, and pursue my education.

The online program for the University of Scranton is very well put together. I have completed one full year and I have one year left to go. The courses are on an accelerated time schedule which has been very beneficial to me since I am working full time while completing the program. The courses are very informative, quick, and to the point without having excessive weeks of repetitive information. Once I complete my MBA with a specialization in Healthcare Management I would like to return to the University... Read More

This is actually a great university! Very affordable, challenging, and my professors have been very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, I am an online student and a lot of this information is not applicable or is unknown.

The workload is a bit heavier than I was anticipating prior to entering a full-time online learning environment for the first time, however the faculty and staff have been very helpful during the transition. The online course database has been very easy to learn and a great learning tool.
