This is a large, urban university. It is sometimes difficult to feel at home or to get involved. Sometimes it is unsafe given the dangerous neighborhood surrounding the university. Much of the student population is commuter, so traffic and parking can be horrendous. Parking is especially bad on football game days. I started Belhaven back in 2014. I gradated with a bachelors in applied psychology. I really enjoyed my time at Belhaven. I have attend online and the adult studies. The adult studies program you meet one night a week from 6pm-10pm and the classes are 6 weeks. Online consist of two discussion questions, reading, quiz and a paper. I had transferred from Georgia State University to Middle Georgia. I like the classes a lot better. The classes were smaller and I actually had a chance to ask my professor for help. Also I saw an improvement in my grades once I selected the right major. I would recommend this school.
